Both the CEB Study Bible and The Discipleship Bible are excellent resources for pastors as lay persons. I use the CEB study Bible all the time, even though the NRSV is my favorite translation followed by the ESV. The First century NIV Study bible (Zondervan) is also an excellent choice.
