Bug Fixes
Thanks for the update....wonder why you decided to change the Logos icon...I liked the other one...
I wasn't aware that a Logos icon had changed; which icon are you referring to?
The click to start Logos icon...it used to look like the Logos logo...

You're talking about the old Logos 3 (Libronix) icon, right?
Which changed to new logo:
My PC is downloading 972MB worth of updates for Logos4 at this time. I wonder what is being updated that makes such a large download.
I see 887.2 MB in the update now in progress (early 1/13/10) . Are the three bugs referenced above all that is in this update?
Wayne
Could be the updates resources discussed here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/9485.aspx
Hi
How come it's a 1 GB download to fix 3 bugs!?!
[:O]
Ben
Never mind. It's a recourse update as well. [^o)]
Can I ask what is different when they are updated.
Thanks

Hi Ben, here's the list of what resources were updated in tonight's update: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/9485.aspx
Logos has started giving us a heads up during the day when they're about to do one, so watch the forum and you'll see. Or if you happen to miss one, you can always go back to the forum and find out what it was. And if it annoys you to have the updates come unexpectedly when you might have preferred to wait, you can go into Tools | Program Settings and set "Automatically Download Updates" to "No" and you'll be given the option to download them at your own convenience.
I'm curious. I just did an update now and it is telling me that no updates are available. Dbl checked and I'm still SR-2. Are you staggering the update for the server?
Rick
If it doesn't come through automatically, try running the installer again: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe

I really appreciate the heads up from Logos on what is coming in the update. I do hope that eventually there will also be an easy way to check with an update log or some other means to see what was (or is) being updated on your own computer.
Yes, I thank you for the good work. Any idea when the Copy Bibler Verses crash will be addressed?
I'm not aware of the problem you refer to, but I've asked for more info at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/6116/75821.aspx#75821
Actually it did about four hours later and the others do come through automatically, I was just curious why it didn't when I did an "update now." I assume it is a server load issue. If every copy of L4 tried updating anywhere near the same time I would imagine that could be an issue.
Bradley: Have been building note files for fifteen years. Now i have no ability to import them in Logos 4. This is very frustrating. When is this capacity coming?
I'm not Bradley, but this is currently being beta tested which means you will see it real soon.
I am guessing here Rick, but if you are looking for resources, you should use "update resources" as well as "update now".
I reported this back in November (sent log) and I was told I would be notified when there was a solution.
I would love to see something like this simple notice, or even just a link to the Forum, posted on the Logos Daily Home Page update.
I don't have much of an inclination to go back and forth through the Forums, but when a large update of a gig or two is undertaken automatically, I would like to have the option of seeing what tasks have actually been completed. I think Logos owe it to their users to keep us up to date re: this.
Possible?
The way it feels now is that this SR 3 is much slower than the former one SR2. Or is it just me? FORGET IT - IT WAS ME.
