How would I set up a search [probably a SYNTAX SEARCH] to find every time the Greek noun ἁμαρτία hamartia = sin occurs without the article ὁ?

Thanks, Dave. This was helpful. But I noted right away that

  • Though it found 1 Jn 1:7
  • It did not find 1 Jn 1:8

Both of these verses have hamartia without the article.

Any further suggestions?

Bill Fiess:
It did not find 1 Jn 1:8

You'll have to try a similar construction with Clauses and model it on that verse.
