Yes, good value.
Thanks for starting a new thread! May be it will get a little more attention!
Feel free to write reviews on products that you really want to go over--the kind of experience you can share from the time you've spent reading and researching your favorite authors is invaluable. I'm sure there are many people who go to the product page and choose not to bid because there aren't many reviews or raving opinions, and that extra bit of information you can provide might help someone jump on board. Especially with Community Pricing, where to most people these authors are more obscure and forgotten, and many people come to the product thinking, "Who is this guy? Why should I care to read him?"
Even if you have a strong opinion against an author, your informed review can help fellow Christians make more informed purchasing decisions. Though personally, I only write reviews on products where I want my favorite authors and subjects to be read more.
Even better value now - down to $13 [Y]
I just saw this thread. I guess there are two of them.
Milton S. Terry's work on Biblical Hermeneutics was the first Christian book outside the Bible that I purchased as a teenager. I read it through three times while I was in the eleventh grade. I underlined many significant (to me at least) passages. Whoever you are, and whatever your background, this book is a readable, inspirational, and most informative volume. The edition I bought from the Grand Bible and Bookstore in Highland Park, Michigan (a once very nice city inside the city of Detroit) has a green dust jacket, and was a Zondervan reprint about 700 pages long, as I recall. It is still about the most thorough treatment of Biblical Hermeneutics I have found, and I have a four-foot bookshelf devoted to that subject in my personal library. That book taught me enough that I was able to trounce the Graduate School seminar professor who thought my approach to interpreting literature and especially poetry was all wrong. When I taught English in public high school, I taught my students the rules of interpretation. I had boiled the rules down to about twelve, and placed them on the blackboard. I have since developed my "Rules of Interpretation" for Bible interpretation to a list containing 23 or 24 items in the October 2010 archives at my www.realbiblestudy.com website.
I have had my bid in for a good while now, and am looking forward to being able to study more of Milton Terry's work. I am especially interested in reading what he has to say about Bible prophecy. I am sure I won't fully agree with him now that I have thoroughly studied George N. H. Peters' work, The Theocratic Kingdom. Nevertheless, having been a high school and then college champion debater, I love to get trounced, and Milton Terry would be the one author capable of doing just that. I enjoy that sort of thing because it forces me to dig deeper into the Bible.
Just a few more bids and it will hit $12. Another day & 1/2, and it might hit $11.
I really think that this is going to be one of those "Kick Your Self in the ----- " for those people who don´t take advantage of this offer. [:@]
It is really close to a dollar a book, and I see at least three of them that are going to be good additions to my library! [:D]

A lot of people refuse to 'look a gift-horse in the mouth' (sigh...) [:O] So penny-pinching!
I'm in.
Now $12 ... Yes!
Well it did not go for a dollar a book, but close enough to justify the bid!
It is finally shipping very soon https://www.logos.com/product/25334/milton-spenser-terry-collection

I am looking forward to receiving these Milton S. Terry volumes. Now if some of the other forgotten "sleepers" for which I've had my "bid" in in CP for what seems to be a long time could in effect be resurrected from the dead!
The best Bible encyclopedia by far (McClintock and Strong's Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature) languishes--and it is far superior for Bible study than either of two others that made it into production: Hastings, and The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge. How do I know it is superior? I have used all three. Nothing compares to McClintock and Strong. I'm glad I bought the hard copy set, and have it available to use. But having it in Logos software would be so much more helpful with its search capabilities we all enjoy.
The other most valuable "sleeper" is the Classic Works on Baptism collection of 42 volumes, as I recall, with a bid price of $80, less than $2 a volume. It is up to about 80% there last I looked. No way could I ever hope to buy the volumes I do not have that are in that collection--some of them very important representatives for the view category they represent--for anywhere near that price multiplied several times over. Come on folks, the Christian faith has two major sacraments we nearly all agree are sacraments in some sense: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. That being the case, we ought to all have a deep interest to learn more about them. I surely am interested, and I'm just a retired English teacher. Shame on the pastors and theologians here without the desire to dig deep into Scripture, theology, and Church History to learn more about our faith, and how others view important aspects of it.
Shame on the
Jerome, you might get this item noticed if you start a new thread (selling your idea to the readers and not hijacking this thread which is about to die) and include active links to the items you are referring to! [:D]

Unfortunately I missed this one and don't know how. CP price was great for such an awesome set but new prepub price is too much. I wish CP had a better system to alert users concerning great deals like this one. Hopefully it'll be included in a future base package
