Anybody else experiencing recent Logos 5 (5.0a SR-4 ) crashes on OS X? Tonight I've had 3 Logos crashes, which is highly unusual. L5 had been pretty stable before tonight. I'm running OS X Mountain Lion and I had no system updates or new software installed in the last couple of days but did have some...

Hi Everyone, Just noticed that the Verbum website has been updated with the "New to L5" and "New to Me" tabs. This will help the decision process greatly. Very nice! Blessings, Steve

Hi, Can anyone shed some light on the UBS Old and New Testment Handbook Series that are part ot the Master and Capstone Base Packages? The comparison chart on the Verbum home page lists the Old Testament Series at 21 volumes, but when you look up that series in the Logos catalog it says is has 29 volumes...

Hi everyone, Thank you all for your responses and feedback. I appreciated and considered all of them with the sincerity in which they were given. Also, I realize that I tend to get down to a level of detail, appropriate or not, moreso than what is the norm . I have been told by those around me that it...

Hi Mark, Sorry, didn't mean not to respond specifically to your last post. (Oops! That was a double negative I think...you know what I mean, hopefully.) I thought I responded to the principles in specific examples in the other posts. There are a couple of things to say I think. First, let's make sure...

Most all of this makes sense...until you see the discounted price for the Verbum Capstone Library. It appears to be calculating less value for my current library even though I am buying more. How can that be? In theory, that would be possible. It's probably worth assuming ... Hi Mark, Thanks for your...

Hi Everyone, It could go unspoken... but we have all read on many different forum topics, that we (Logos' customers) are not happy with with this or that about the L5 upgrade. Including me in the criticism of the pricing model for the L5-Verbum upgrade. Clearly, the entire Logos team - from Bob to the...

I suspect what you call the library resource value really isn't, but is something else. I still think the attention should be on what we actually know, the retail upgrade price and the custom discount. All the best. Hi Dennis, Thanks for being patient with me. I promise to let you have the last word...

Steve, I think there are more variables at play here than you have in your formula. But I'll suggest one possible answer to your question using the data you have. Hi Dennis, Thanks for your reply. I understand that we don't have the "inner workings" of the discount calculator used by Logos, but I don...

If you are finding a discrepancy in what you are seeing I would certainly appreciate your help in finding any issues in the discount calculator price being wrong. Please send me a screenshot of the pricing on the Verbum product page for your logged in account. We most certainly don't want people paying...
