  • Re: Microsoft Surface

Joshua, I suggest you may want to move on from the Surface Pro and look at other options. While it may convince you it's worth, it's not worth spending too much time regretting and thinking about it. The stylus is brilliant and underlines very well. I can underline with the stylus, then use my finger...

  • Faithlife.com Prayers widget for iOS?

I use the faithlife application on my iPod Touch most days and think it would be great to have my daily prayer points on it. I like the prayer widget for faithlife.com but I can't seem to find a simple way to see them in the iOS application. Is there a simple way to see the prayers in the faithlife app...

Having installed and been using both of the above apps on my iPhone 4S, I have noticed in the usage page in Settings on my phone that Faithlife is using 438MB, which is a huge amont of space. What is actually taking up the space and how do I reduce the amount of memory used? If I want to check one of...

  • Logos 5 vs. Verbum Apps on iPad

I just want to verify that if I already had the Logos 5 App installed on my iPad and I purchased a Verbum base package for the Catholic titles, I don't need to have Verbum AND Logos Apps installed, right? I did at first but now I see that all of my Logos/Verbum titles are installed in both. Is there...

  • Advice: Modern Greek or Latin?

Hi guys, I'm in the process of finishing my registration for courses. I have a choice to study beginners Modern Greek or beginners Latin. I'm thinking learning Greek is not incredibly useful since it is of the modern variety and ill just study it when I enter seminary a year later. However, it's neat...

  • Windows Mobile 8

I can't see if this question has been asked recently. I have been an avid iPhone user for the last few years - but recently been enticed away by the new Win Mobile 8 platform on a Nokia Lumina 920 (love:😊). Thus I am wondering now that MS seem to be giving the mobile platform a red hot go, is there...

  • Hyperlinks for SBL and NA27 Greek

Hi forum members, It seems that all the greek words in the SBL and NA27 text are hyper-linked causing them to appear in blue. When I touch a word, a popup box returns no information and I'm not sure if this is meant to happen. I'm just wondering why it does this? Thanks Peter

  • using dictionaries with the iPad app

A few questions: 1. When using the Greek text, when I hold down a word, where does the lexical information come from? 2. Is there a way to set it so that holding down a word will bring me to the BDAG or HALOT dictionary on the other split screen? 3. If not, how do I do a word search by selecting BDAG...

  • Re: Learn to Use Biblical Greek and Hebrew with Logos Bible Software

However, not all have the opportunity, and God has called and used some ministers powerfully who did not know Greek or Hebrew. So I would really not question God's choice in the matter. But if you have the opportunity, TAKE IT! And these Logos language tools are great as far as they go, but they are...
