  • Maps - Best Practices Question

This is an iPad specific question I stink at geography. So, when I'm reading the OT and come across a location, I often want to see it on a map. However, I have a difficult time "easily" pulling up a useful map in all my resources. Just wondering if anyone has a "best practices" or easy way to quickly...

  • Map for Church History

I tried to search a certain place in Church History in the "Biblical Places" tool but I got nothing. So is map for Church History included in the Scholar's Library - Platinum? If not, are there any Logos resources purchasable? How to search to see if I have the relevant maps in my library (since it contains...

  • Linking Logos maps to verse maps

Is there a way of creating links to Logos maps (i.e. -diagrams of "the travels of ...") from Bible verses? It would be great to be able to navigate from a passage to a map in Biblical places. I expect that this may be added as a feature to logos at some time in the future, but if it can't be done yet...

  • Lutheran Study Bible Maps and Charts....

I appreciated Steve Clarks documents to be used in the notes section for the ESV Study Bible's maps and charts... and got to thinking about doing something similar with the Lutheran Study Bible. But as I started to look into doing so I noticed in the table of contents a reference section in the Lutheran...

  • Map and Atlas Collection

Has anyone created a Map and Atlas collection? For example, I wanted to quickly look at the maps I have in Logos (Platinum) to see the one I want to use for a map of Paul's Second Missionary Journey. I could run a search on that, but I would get articles and other material that I don't want to sift through...

  • Re: Search for Maps by Title and Scripture Reference

I tried this but it seems like the image itself is not tagged by Scripture reference. John: There are a few different issues going on here. In the case of the Holman Bible Atlas , the references are tagged, and you can find this map by doing a Passage Guide for 2 Ki 14:23 and looking in the Media Resources...

  • Zooming Maps without Scroll Wheel

I am running Logos 4 on a laptop with a touchpad so therefore no scroll wheel. Is there some way to zoom in and out of maps without using a scroll wheel? If so, how? Thanks. Dan

  • Re: Determing distances between places

Steven - did you ever figure this out? I cannot get this to work on my MacBook using an apple mouse. Control + click opens the standard contextual menu. If I do it on a city or place name it gives my the popup to choose Biblical Places or one of my dictionaries. If I control + click (or right click)...
