I know you have been working on the Marters Mirror, as Have I.  I am approaching the last editing page of mine. Assuring picutes are in place, the original pages are close to the original spots and centering and bolind titals. the final step will be linking Indexs.  I do not want to step on your work and will not post mine until we can come up with a plan. Hi Rosie,

No harm.  No foul.  I deeply appreciate all you do and you do so much on the forums to help everybody.  There are vagaries in communications when we are restricted to typing letters and emoticons.  This is the first time I have encountered a date slipping without Logos extending it on the day it slipped.  FWIW  And that is the only reason I began the thread.  I try to use as few words as possible when posting given people misunderstanding what I am saying who take it from another slant than I mean it...I do love words, just not on the forums.   God Bless!

I made a decision not to post on the forum anymore. It is next to impossible for me to have what I consider a truth boiling inside me, and not share it. Maybe you can read this then delete it and it will not cause further turmoil. It seems to me that we largely agree on this issue. When I said I struggle with the thought that God built the fire, It was not me having that thought that worried me. It was that a large portion of the general public shares that view. At times it seems that view is the accepted, conventional/beltway wisdom.

As I see it, just accepting all the bad things that come our way as “the Will of God” or “God is just testing me” serves no purpose. We need to do some testing of our own. We need to evaluate the possibility of cause and effect. It is also possible that we are in this predicament because of satan’s influence, either on us, or others who influence us.

If we do not dig and find the REAL reasons for the trials we endure, We will never take steps to avoid the same pain in the future. And worst of all, we would continue to blame God for something He did not do.

You seem to be one of the most acitve ( and knowledgable) participants in the forums. I have a question and I've allready spent 30 minutes looking for my answer in the forums and on the wiki without any solution. Can you answer for me or direct me where I should go to get an answer?

Why do my citations (when I cut and past from Logos to Word not completely follow the selected citation format?  I thinking of especially when I copy something from one of the IVP reference works and the citation shows the editors but not the individual who actually wrote the article in the work?

I wanted to thank you for your Christ-like spirit in answering and responding to people on the forums. I was just reading a post that could have led to hurt feelings, but your response was very appropriate. Thanks for all you do as a voice for Logos and in trying to help people get the most out of it.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for the wonderful help you give to so many people (myself included) on the forums.

To have 1/2 of your knowledge and expertise on Logos would be a real treat for me!

Rosie, I finally found a backup of original file of my prioritising video (I don't keep them because they use a lot of diskspace - and after all I don't need to because I can always download them!!). So I've corrected the invalid video. Thanks for pointing it out.
