Ward, thanks for the response, but specifically. Do you take the laptop which uses multiple monitors and use it with a video projector?

Multiple Monitors

Thanks for your suggestion about the Arkview adapter. I am running a laptop on a docking station with two 20" monitors - it works well!

I have a problem though when I undock my laptop and take it to church to use in my teaching my laptop doesn't communicate to the project as it did before I began using the adapter. But the adapter is attached to the docking station at home not on my laptop.

It won't recognize multiple monitors. Have you had this experience and if so, what did you do?

Ward, I just received my Elitebook last week. I ordered the 8540w i7-620 preconfig package. It handles logos very, very well. Far better than my 18 month old Lenovo r61i. If you are looking for some specific info - shoot me an email and I can let you know what I know about it. So far, I really like it - though its a lot heaver than my last laptop.
