  • Re: New Feature: Parallel Passages in the Pauline Letters (Resource)

sorry, it seems this is mixed up a bit. https://www.logos.com/product/81291/parallel-passages-in-the-pauline-letters is https://www.logos.com/resources/LLS_PRLLLPSSGSLTTRS/parallel-passages-in-the-pauline-letters , if owned it can be opened with LLS:PRLLLPSSGSLTTRS and the filename of course is accordingly. This is the one on Logos Now https://www.logos...

[quote user="Rick Brannan (Faithlife)"]Parallel Passages resources also have capability to be used in the Parallel Passages section of the Passage Guide. [quote user="Graham Criddle"]I'm intrigued as to why this was done as a resource as opposed to an Interactive. • New Feature: Parallel Passages in the Pauline Letters (Resource)

What is it? Explore the Pauline letters like never before with the Parallel Passages in the Pauline Letters resource. We've thematically organized Paul's letters for quick comparison and in-depth study. Explore the differences in each of the Pauline Greeting formulas; find where Paul shares his longing to visit the Romans, Corinthians, Thessalonians...

  • Re: 'Parallel Passages in Paul' Temporary Resource Question

This resource is included in Logos Now and Verbum Now. Note that it should also play nice with the Parallel Passages section of the Passage Guide.

  • SUGGESTION: Add interactives to Parallel Passages Section of Passage Guide

Two interactives (Parallel Gospel Reader and Synopsis of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles) are especially useful for their formatting of parallel texts. When one of them is applicable, it would be nice to have a link to it in the Parallel Passages section of the Passage Guide. A similar function for the "New Testament Use of the Old Testament" would also...

  • Re: Parallel Passages and Fact Collection worth upgrading?

That is the old ISBE. The revised is several times longer and much more up to date. You have Holman, Eerdman's, Baker and the Lexham dictionary. If the set is cheaper than the revised ISBE, then pick it up. That will round out some good dictionaries. Dice you already have the harmonies in your base package, the parallel passages will, in my opinion...

  • Parallel Passages and Fact Collection worth upgrading?

As a student I can get https://www.logos.com/product/51764/parallel-passages-collection for less money...since I do not know or use original languages - would this addon still be helpful? Is the Factbook worth adding too as well?

  • Parallel Passages Interactive Tool

It is very useful to have the resources that allow one to compare parallel passages. What would be very nice indeed is to have them work together in a way comparable to the Parallel Gospel Reader. Beside the better layout in the latter than the sometimes less nice pagination of the former, the first has also this very handy function that allows the...

I am not familiar with any of these personally but parallel passages resources are extremely useful and the titles you propose would help remedy several blind spots in what is currently available.

  • Re: Cross-reference error in Parallel Passages

Thanks for the rapid response. In studying Ps 69, I asked for a parallel passages report, which was duly presented. However, in the parallel passages for v. 9, I was presented with Rom. 15:13, which should clearly have been Rom. 15:3. Just wanted to know how to report this.
