• Re: URL Scheme / x-callback-url for iOS Logos app

Thanks. The x-callback-url was en example of how simple it would be for Logos to support it. It's not yet supported by the app to open a resource. I'm aware of the Refly syntax, but it launches an intermediary browser and the webapp before delegating to the desktop app, and this is a major impediment to its usage in many contexts. The x-callback-url

My example wasn't formatted to the best of the spec, so let me link a better resource here: http://x-callback-url.com/

I would ask for the same on macOS' side too. Logos could easily support both syntaxes: logosres:lrngbibgrmrwkbk;ref=Page.p_298;off=265 (logosref syntax) logosres://lrngbibgrmrwkbk?ref=Page.p_298&off=265 (x-callback-url standard syntax) See how the second line automatically gets recognized as a link by this webpage? This opens up lots of integration

Doug and all, thanks for the supportive words and intentions! I'm very thankful! BTW I found I can tune my printer for better contrast, so at least I'll be OK with the PDF Doug is speaking about.

Hi again! In my most recent try this week, it took me a half-hour to print the 4 PDFs of Exercise 2. First time they didn't come out big enough on the Letter paper sheets, so I ran the PDFs through PDF Pen and learned my way in the app to resize each page contents to end up with narrower margins . Second time I realized I'd need to highlight manually
If Lexham Press could send owners a link to download all the reassembled pages as a series of multi-page PDF documents, it would be very great!
Hi, I'm coming back to work on this grammar and I see things did not improve since 2019. Might I ask Lexham to think about providing owners a PDF document containing all

Hi Doug, Thanks for your answer, I now have a working solution. The Save as... => Save all slides as images trick: This trick works if one is willing to print one page per sheet (I was hoping to print on both sides). One could use a word or PDF editing app to reassemble a multi-page document with the images before printing. I think that's what I

  • Learning Biblical Hebrew Workbook

Hi! I'm having an issue with the logos edition of the Learning Biblical Hebrew Workbook by Karl Kutz and Rebekah Josberger . When I navigate to the exercises , the resource only shows their first page's contents (e.g. part 1 exercise 2 ). If I understand well, it's because this book's exercises are designed to be printed. I deduce this from the fact

Thanks; those are helpful. And this morning, the icon for the shortcut to Interactive above appeared and when clicking it, instead of saying I don't own a license to the interactive, it allowed me to download it. OTOH, there are other weird behaviors. For example, in the Mobile Ed course I was working on and which I had to re-download manually, my highlights

  • Interactive resource licenses didn't come back after Recommended first-run setup

Hi, I reformatted my system and reinstalled Logos. Some of my resources are no longer available to me. Using the new first-run setup experience, I chose to try to download only the Recommended resources to see how it goes. (Searching for something not available locally, finding it in the cloud and then downloading it and seeing how the search then sees

  • Crash when trying to open resources

Hi, when I try to browse to open a new resource, I experience a crash. The logs report this when I click on the Library icon (or on "+" for a new resource tab): Error ID: 3569 Error detail: FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.ParseDouble (System

I am so thankful for this! Up until last week-end (prior to 7.18), my English UI's export of my sermon made the bible references appear English on the Proclaim slides (both their title and the displayed reference) even though I was reading from French translations. Will the same happen next time when I export my sermon document to Proclaim, or will

Do you plan to bring text markup support parity to what's available in Proclaim? For now I can't really use the Sermon editor to edit slides to the same level of detail and interaction that I can in Proclaim. 2 things come to mind that I'm missing the most. I use them all the time since they were offered to Proclaim users: Ability to introduce content
I suspect that the problem was the way the collections were set up. It sounds like you had dozens of similar collections, many of which were very complex (denominational). If you want to create multiple collections all based on the same denominational tagging, you should use compound collections, rather than pasting in the
Thanks for the post, Daniel. Having taken a quick look at the logs you provided, it looks like there was a problem with some of the collections you had that cost a few seconds each on start-up. It would be good if someone at Logos could look at this. The collections that slowed down your start-up were running more than

Hello, having been (probably) naïve in configuring dozens of those collections, I didn't realize how it slowed down my Logos app's startup time . I wanted to share that here in case someone else would be affected like I've been. (And it may be that it was just my collections that got corrupted, and not directly them being the cause of my issues, who

Thank you all so, so much ! Wow, I saw what you mean in the logs! Those search requests must have been quite costly to run, seeing them spelled out like that in the logs! I did configure a lot of suggested custom Collections something like one year ago (theological collections and denominational collections coming out of some Community project here
