When I am reading a resource in Logos 5, I often see a grey dotted line and [*11* Highlights] *the number changes. What is this? I'm assuming it is references other references to this particular subject, but I see no way to check out the other references. Am I missing something?

Funny answer, but didn't solve my problem. However, the laugh was worth it!

  • Re: One Year Bible Reading Plan

It is unfortunate we are now well into Logos 6 and this isn't updated. I am going to read the Bible in a year, but the most common is the One Year Bible. My daughter is reading a hard version and I would like to be able to follow along with her. My preference would be to use Logos with the app, but apparently they aren't going to make this possible

Same issue. My MacBook Pro downloaded right away...my MacBook Air is taking FOREVER!!! It is currently at 58% of 3.86GB (which seems huge to me)...hopefully it makes it, I think I'm on the 3rd day.

Thanks! Oh, that is really awesome and makes a whole lot more sense now! I'm leaving it as it could grab my attention if I am skimming too quickly!

  • Re: Layouts

Patrick, Thank you. This answers my question, I think. Now, your picture is of a Mac layout. The first thing I noticed is that I don't have those "tabs" to the immediate right of the search box. Did you have to put them there? I'm all up to date on my Logos 5... Gunnar

  • Layouts

I've been using Logos for a long time now. Every week as I prepare for a sermon this is the order I follow: 1. I enter the passage I am preaching on. 2. I then go to the Bible window and add all of the translations I use week to week. 3. I then click on all the commentaries I prefer to use week to week.. 4. I then close a window on the far bottom right

  • Mac Maps Distance Calculator

I'm running Logos 5 on a Mac. I was at a conference last night and the Logos sales person demonstrated the software showing a distance calculator feature that looked really cool. I can't seem to do this....I'm think this is just on the PC version? Is this right?

  • Re: Mac Maps Distance Calculator

Yes, you are correct...only certain maps allow this. With the right map and CMD click, I am good to go. Thank you!

I want a plan that will sync exactly with the One Year Bible reading plan. This it will not do. This is not the same thing as reading through the Bible in a year in four parts daily...

  • Mac Copy and Paste

Recently when I attempt to copy and paste something, it doesn't copy the text, but rather pastes the Bible passage for the section. For example, I see a good quote from a commentary on a given passage. I highlight it, copy it, and then go to paste it in a word document. Instead of pasting what I highlighted, it pastes the actual Bible passage that the
