  • Re: Don't forget to redeem your free Mobile Ed course!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if the courses I like are $149 each can I get 2 free or is it 1 free irrespective of price? Thanks

  • Zondervan Christmas Sale on now

I haven't seen any posts on this so maybe it's just started. Several Zondervan bundles are massively discounted. For example the Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary OT bundle for $109.99 and NIVAC bundles at 60% off.

  • Upgrade pricing mysteries

I upgraded to the new Messianic Starter at a great price. Before I did so, my Pentecostal/Charismatic Starter upgrade price was $17.42. The Life Application NT Commentary is common to both. So when I checked the P/C starter price now, I expected it to drop, but it's gone UP, to $20.27. Very strange indeed. The other starter upgrade prices that I looked

  • Re: Best books on OEC/EC/TE?

However, John MacArthur has this to say: Hugh Ross has embraced selected theories of big bang cosmology, which he regards as undisputed fact—including the notion that the universe and the earth are billions of years old—and he employs those theories as lenses through which to interpret Scripture. In effect, he makes Scripture subservient

  • Re: Mike Heiser Special Edition Logos 7

This was a great deal for me. $194 was only a little more than my price to upgrade to full feature. I got most of the features I wanted plus a bunch of other resources. I am very happy, unlike some of the others on here. Well I guess you'll never please all the people, but for me, many thanks Logos!

  • 60 Years of Christianity Today

Got my prepub order of this resource (2.25GB!) yesterday and have started browsing the early issues. They are not just a record of Christian news and opinions but of history. For example in 1956 and 1957 China was the subject of several articles including one by William F. Knowland, Senate minority leader, who starts his article on China :"No more critical

  • Re: Upgrading to 8 to install on new laptop

Thanks for this. I will not keep 7 on my old laptop once I am happy that all is fine with 8 on the new one. I will follow method 2 on the wiki to avoid downloading resources. Should I then copy the resources onto the SSD to speed up searches and guides? Thanks again

  • Upgrading to 8 to install on new laptop

I have searched the forums but cannot find the right way to do this. Today I bought a new laptop with a hard drive and an SSD. I want to upgrade to Logos 8 and install it onto my new laptop only. I think I must do the following: 1. Log in and download Logos 8 onto the SSD (will the installation give me that option?) 2. Copy all resources to the SSD

  • Lexham Geographic Commentary Resources not Linked

I do understand that in some of the older resources the links don't show the linked resources, but surely in a new Lexham resource such as this, they should. I am clicking on the bibliographies and they simply name the resource - not helpful!

  • Re: Christianity Today, 2009, Volume 53, Numbers 1–12 temporary download

I was very pleasantly surprised to receive this. I had thought it was because I ordered the complete CT collection on prepub. Not sure why anyone would object to it being sent out, when you can simply hide it if you don't like it. But why not scan through the contents first as there are many articles that even a "non-evangelical" would enjoy? Thanks

  • Reversing Hermon?

Any news yet on this book by Michael Heiser? I have just finished the Unseen Realm, a real eye-opener, and am keen to get Reversing Hermon, but it's still not back up yet. It's several months since we were told it would be available soon.

  • Re: What happened to Topic Search in Logos 6?

I'm bumping this because we've heard nothing for over a month, and since I upgraded to Logos 6 a month ago, it is the single feature I miss the most. I am really struggling to weed out important results in a search. It's not really helpful when I'm searching for info on Athenagoras, for example, to be faced with a choice of only 2 dictionary hits in

  • Removing Resources from Parallel

I use the left and right arrows to scroll through parallel resources in a commentary, dictionary or bible translation. However there are many resources I don't want to waste time seeing, particularly in the commentaries. Is there a way to remove some resources from parallel without hiding them from my library so that I can just view those that I consider

  • Index for Bible Study magazine?

I can never find any of the studies in the magazine, which I have since volume 1. Has anyone prepared an index to the studies and articles? Otherwise I will have to do one over the next few weeks.
