• Re: Bug: NIBC Series: Strange Behaviors

I had a similar issue with 1 and 2 Peter and Jude. I know that book was released later. But how did you prioritize the 17 volumes of NIBC if your library pane only lists 4 volumes? Have you tried doing an "update resources" command?

Hi Tom, me again! I haven't done anything with this for a while due to holiday busy-ness, but wanted to let you know that things are still not as they should be. The downloads just keep happening. Last night it was asking for a big one, so I just let it run all night. When I got up in the morning, the download icon was gone, so I opened L4 and checked

Tom, I went to bed last night with that initial 6.74 GB running. When I got up this morning, the L4 main window had opened and that dialog was done, but the little blue icon at the top said 0% of 5.47 GB. So I have no idea if the whole 6.74 GB download worked or not. When I went to my library, it says "0 resources" I have rebooted my internet connection
Anything that you've created so far should be synced to the cloud.
I'm not sure that my L4 has ever successfully updated anything, so how can I be sure that my personal data has made it to the cloud? When does this normally happen? Is it during the update process? I'm going to remove the folder you mentioned and zip

Tom, Before I go this route, just some questions... 1) that folder says that it is 7.68 GB, so does that mean the download will only be that many GB as well? Or should I expect much larger? 2) Will I lose any data that I have added to these resources? such as highlighting, etc.? 3) Are my notes and customizations preserved? 4) I still have lots of CDs
You might have downloaded your books before we added that check, so you could have several files which are corrupt.
Tom, I was using the alpha version while still overseas and had the internet accessibility options and automatic update functions turned off due to my expensive internet access. OK, I removed the LLS:29.45.10 folder with the enclosed file. Then I ran the indexer from terminal as you instructed before and it is still quitting after a few seconds. Terminal then says, "abort trap". So the problem appears to still be unsolved. Here is the file you asked for. 2818.NAC22.logos4.zip Thanks, Tom. Bryan
Try deleting this file and rerunning the indexer from terminal
After deleting the file, I ran indexer again and it behaved in the same manner. The icon was in the task bar for 5 to 10 seconds, then disappeared. I then copied the indexer.log which I'll attach here. 0830.Indexer.log Bryan

After running all night again, it downloaded the entire 4.78 GB. I let it update the resources, then checked to see if my interlinears were working. Nope. nothing. Then I ran update resources again. For some reason, it says "no updates were found" but then when I restart the program, it started downloading at 0% of a 4.40 GB download. I'm losing track

I've tried both ESV and NASB95 in both OT and NT. They all do the same thing.

Here's the latest... After waiting all day for it to download the 6.27 GB download, it got up to 78% and then stopped downloading. I waited a LONG time to see if it was still downloading, and even checked OSX's activity monitor. After a long time of no activity, I cancelled the download. I then restarted Logos and did an "update resources" command AGAIN

OK, I'm sorry, but I'm really frustrated with the update process, and I've sent an email to customer service and not received much help, and I don't feel I'm getting much here either. Can someone please help me figure out how this update resource process works. Tom, I responded to your post with some issues I'm having and I continue to have those same

  • Interlinears not working

I have written on the forums before about problems with my interlinears not working. I was told to download all the updates available and they should work. I have been living overseas, so haven't been able to do that, but when I returned to the U.S. last week, I downloaded over 6.4 GB of updates and yet the interlinears still do not work. when I hit

Thanks for the explanation, Tom. ...but I have no way of knowing how many files are being downloaded, or what size they are, or where I am in the download. When I had to disconnect from the internet yesterday the little blue icon at the top said 41% of 6.44GB. For example, perhaps I was at the last few megabytes of a 1GB file and if I had only waited

Here's another, related question. I notice that the download is really slowing down my internet access. If I need to use the internet for something else while a download is going on, what should I do? If I hit "cancel downloading" does that mean the download is going to start over? Or does it just pause it? By the way, my download now appears to be

  • problems with updating

I've written before on the forum about my difficulty getting my resources up-to-date because I live overseas with reduced internet access. Now, however, I am in the U.S. and I'm trying to use my host's high speed internet to get everything up to date. The problem is that I have about 6.44GB that Logos says it needs to download. I have now tried three
