• Re: Excuse me,

For what it's worth, there is no official language in the United States. Spanish, English, Japanese, Swahili: anybody can speak what they want, and that's a very good thing in my opinion. Comments like "enabling their language in our country" and "the only thing that will get them anywhere in our country" are therefore not only factually untrue, they

I'd buy it, but at $500+ in print already, there won't be many takers here.. I'm still waiting for people to realize how great the Stoic bundle is , and it's only $25.

I'm going to try reading through the entire bible in 2019 using D.A. Carson's Love of God devotionals . I only made it through a few weeks last year but I remember really enjoying it.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, Logos will not stick you with it, you can call customer service within the first 30 days.
I know, thanks. But I wasn't that disappointed. I'll keep it all the same. :)

Yes, I just bought the first edition last week, thinking it was the second and was kind of disappointed.

  • Re: ATTN. KYLE: New Kiekegaard resource lacks internal links

It would appear that Kierkegaard's writings are already available in the Lutheran Platinum base package. In the same way that people owning Orthodox Gold and up already have access to the Patrologiae Cursus Completus, Series Graeca..

  • Re: Setting up a list of Books to Read on my iPad

I tag my books to read as "toread". If you want a prioritized list, you could tag them "toread1", "toread2", etc. The only problem with this second method is updating the order when you finish a book (have to change all the tags). Mytag:toread works well enough for me. I just pick out a book from that list and read it, then I change the tag to "completed

  • What do you do with your Canvases?

So I decided to give the new Canvas feature a whirl while reading Herodotus' Persian Wars, in my attempt to better understand the Persian empire (as well as the Lydians, Medes, Babylonians and Assyrians). I made myself the following Canvas diagram, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. Can I insert it into my notes at various places somehow? Or should

I've been in from the beginning and I'll be with it to the end. This dictionary is a big deal at a pretty good price all things considered (check out the hardback price on Amazon, and that's without Logos tagging and integration).

  • Indexing keeps running out of space (and stopping)

I've been trying to reinstall Logos 7 on my laptop, but am running into space issues I thiink. My hard drive says it has 3.5 gigs of space left, but the indexer on Logos 7 keeps bombing, with the error message: "Please restart index with 1 gig of hard drive space free." I clearly have more than 1 gig free, but my library was 15 gigs to download. Is

  • Library too big for my hardrive: what to do?

I've stopped using Logos on my laptop because I kept running out of space (especially when indexing) due to all the resources I have. Do I have any alternative solutions to download only a portion of them? I read that the indexes can be made smaller (?), but I'm not sure that even that will help. I think my Logos was taking upwards of 30 gigs of space
found the L8 package to be one of the more exciting in all my years with Logos/Verbum/Faithlife.
Would you mind expanding on this, MJ? Which package(s) did you end up choosing that you liked so much? And which resources caught your fancy in particular?
How if we can just get bids on the whole series ...
I just came online to post about this. My guess is that Logos is already working on this series and it will be available relatively soon. I remember there were resources I wanted in Logos 6 or 7 that weren't ready when the packages came out, but they downloaded a few

I'd buy them! It's strange that they haven't yet been offered through Community Pricing: Plotinus seems like an obvious buy for people interested in religious studies. https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=plotinus&Author=21721%7cPlotinus&redirecttoauthor=true But then again, I thought the same thing about the Stoics (Paul, anyone?), but they
