  • Re: Split Screen Font and Background

Sorry, no, it isn't possible... I have wished the font size could be different...it would be nice to emulate a Study Bible with a larger font for the Bible and smaller font for the study notes!

  • Re: A Theology of the Temple

I enjoyed David Levy's " The Tabernacle, Shadows of the Messiah. " He covers the predecessor to the temple, the tabernacle and also the sacrificial system and the priesthood, and makes connections with Christ. It is a good first book on the subject, I think.

  • Re: Mobile ED: "Book" Study VS "Exegetical" Study

Miles replied in your other thread about this question. Turns out there is a difference: [quote user="Miles Custis"] The two categories do have different focuses. Exegetical Study courses have more of a focus on exegeting the original text. They assume a basic understanding of Greek (or Hebrew if/when we do some OT Exegetical courses). The Book Study

  • Re: A "Book" study versus an "Exegetical" study

Thanks for clarifying Miles. I notice that the Exegetical Study on Philippians mentions that he takes the student "through the Greek text." The one on Hebrews mentions nothing about Greek; might be good to slip that in there.

Hi Rick, I replied in your other thread about this, but now I see this is one being followed: I did some digging and from what I can see, FL prefers the name "Book Study." There are only two (that I can see) that are named "Exegetical Study" (Hebrews, Philippians). Both of those are of Bible Books that already have a duplicate Mobile Ed course (a "Book

Hi Rick, I did some digging and from what I can see, FL prefers the name "Book Study." There are only two (that I can see) that are named "Exegetical Study" (Hebrews, Philippians). Both of those are of Bible Books that already have a duplicate Mobile Ed course (a "Book Study") by a different professor that was done earlier. My conclusion is that they

I agree...I would love to see more variety in the resource backgrounds. There has been a Uservoice suggestion for more background colors (not images as you requested) for quite some time: https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-8/suggestions/1052509-allow-each-pane-to-have-an-individual-background-c

  • Re: How do you export a whole notebook?

The way Thomas describes is how it works for me on a Mac. It will only print/export the SELECTED notes, not the whole notebook. Maybe this is different on Windows? Thomas, you can quickly select a group of notes by clicking the first one, scrolling to the last one you want to include, holding SHIFT down and clicking the final note.

Hi Chris, No, sorry, the bookmarks don't sync. Others have requested this for a long time, but nothing has ever come of it. I personally just use Favorites to sync my reading.

  • Re: rearrange, reorder, and disable highlighters

I agree that the four system supplied palettes need to be user-modifiable, but, in the meantime I have been putting my most used at the very bottom of the list. Why at the bottom? Because it's easier to do a quick swipe on my trackpad (or iPad) and scroll to the very bottom (where it stops scrolling automatically), then to try to scroll to the middle

We are going to need to be a little more specific. There are four versions of Mojave—10.14.0, 10.14.1, 10.14.2, 10.14.3—the first and possibly second caused problems with Logos. We want to rule out that you aren't on one of those. Please check by clicking on "About This Mac" on the Apple Menu. Are you on Logos 8.2? Please verify by clicking

Hello Agustin, Welcome to the forums! It doesn't appear that you can use the easy way of typing accents in the Notes Tool (by holding down on the key and selecting from the resulting pop up menu). But the OPTION keyboard shortcuts do work for typing accents. For instance, Type OPT-U and then your letter and you get: ë Type OPT-N and then your letter

You may already know this—and it's only a workaround—but you can set shortcut keys for Styles in Pages. In the Inspector Panel, click on the down arrow by the Style.
