Do you accidentally jiggle the mouse slightly while holding the right click button?

Correct -- it does not occur with scrolling. It only happens with the "two finger click," when you actually press down on the Magic Trackpad with two fingers, and then slip your fingers a slight bit while holding down (you could try this). I suspect one wouldn't have the issue occur at all with the "Secondary Tap" setting that you use.

All the Logos gesture motions are listed in the Logos Help. Open Help, type gestures in the search box. This particular motion is an angle bracket. This is a screenshot of the black overlay that pops up: Do you have a Magic Trackpad? Can you try doing this?

Yes, if you accidentally make the Logos gesture for reading aloud while trying to right click using the two finger click on a Magic Trackpad it will read aloud. That gesture is a little hard to accidentally make, but it's possible. I take the "big black image" the OP described as the two by two black overlay that pops up when a Logos gesture is activated

It is a Logos issue, one that happens with the Magic Trackpad when you have the secondary click set to "two finger." All it takes is a slight slip as you are making a right click to accidentally activate a Logos gesture.

KSFJ, I am on Lion, which spreads the preferences out over three panes. What exactly are you looking for? If you are wondering about what kind of secondary click I use, it's the two-finger click. I also, looking at your screenshot, do not use the tap to click/secondary taps, because my hands have a slight shake that make using taps tough. Integ

I could get the tabs to scroll, but they sprung back every time. I am on Lion 10.7.4 using a Magic Trackpad.

Sounds like you've discovered gestures, a relatively new feature. From the Logos Help: "Gestures are an easy way to perform common functions without having to move your hand away from your mouse or position it over toolbar buttons or menus." See the Logos Help for how to use them. Some of us would like a way to shut them off, but thus far there isn

  • BUG? -- 4.3c Beta 1 -- Resource List is Centered

The resource list that populates when you create a new tab now has centered formatting. I don't recall seeing this in previous versions. I can't make up my mind whether this is a feature or a bug!

I have the same issue with Logos, but not with other applications -- it seems to be a bug to me. With other apps, like Textedit, once you turn it on it stays on, and it is global, for every document (see Joe Miller's comment above).

From what I understand, spell check is off by default system-wide. That's how Apple has designed it. See the end of this article: http://www.macworld.com/article/151504/2010/05/setupanewmac.html . You have to turn it on in individual applications (Textedit, Safari, etc.) whenever you do a completely clean install of Mac OS (and you don't migrate your
