You are right, its unique to macOS 11. I'll let the team know.
Thank you, Philana!
No that is the correct shortcut and it does work.
Is it possible that you've disabled it (to show Full-Screen) on your Mac somehow? Or perhaps it has to do with the macOS version. I am running Logos 9.1 Beta 3 on macOS 11.0.1 "Big Sur" It is the default shortcut for entering Full-Screen mode on macOS-- https:
How soon will Logos have it available for purchase?
Amazon lists it as coming on 1/12/21--I don't imagine Logos would have it before then. It's a good deal on Prepub--almost half-price--better than Amazon!

Factbook Tool Added a new global shortcut for the Factbook Tool. Ctrl+Alt+F on Windows CMD+Ctrl+F on Mac CMD+CTRL+F is macOS's global shortcut for entering Full-Screen mode. As such, it doesn't open the Factbook. Did you make a typo?

Grrr. Please fix!

Hi Joe, Welcome to the forums. As Graham said, it's not possible to delete/hide the default highlighting palettes. I wish we could also. But the way I worked around it was to put my most important palette at the very bottom of the list (by adding "Z-" to the name). The reason being is that I can scroll very quickly to the bottom of the list without
I have just tried a couple of resources and find that I can scroll the text just fine with columns set to three. If I rest two fingers on the track pad I can scroll the text (providing it has focus) the way I would do any other scrolling.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but I do this with two fingers

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but the only way in the Desktop app to have that sort of precision is to make sure that the Columns are set to " None " on the resource menu. BTW: I just noticed that Logos 9 doesn't highlight the current Columns setting, so it's hard to know what it's set to.

Wow! Thanks MJ!
Hi Levi, Another one with the same problem. I had tried help, clicking anything I could think of (except the correct one which I thought was a shortcut to full screen display). Heartfelt thanks.
Glad to have helped!
I guess FL stopped the Help resource? ... I'm still on L7, and you could highlight, make notes, etc.
You can still highlight and take notes in the Help File in L9, it's the same as any other resource.

Yes, I have...no problems yet. Others successfully ran Logos on the Big Sur betas. BTW - I am using Logos 9.

It's showing for me on Logos 9 SR-2, macOS 10.15.7-- Could you post a screenshot and Logos and OS specs.?

FL must be trying to prove the old saying, "The third time's a charm."
It is when I click on 'Rename' and the target flashes and reverts to its former state.
If I right-click and click rename three times, it will allow me to rename.
I've sent them several logs already. So far, no response
Go ahead and post your logs to this thread (using the paperclip icon in the forum post editor). There are several techy forum people who might be able to help you.
Because of this...I don't think Logos automatically saves things on closing. I think I have to update layouts and things like that.
Correct. Logos does not automatically save layouts. You need to manually update. TIP: To save time, you can type "Update Active Layout" in the Command Box and then drag it to the Shortcuts Bar

Hmm. It stays off for me after I uncheck it (I'm using the KJV on macOS and Logos 9). Is this happening in one Bible or multiple Bibles? Which one(s)?
-
Hi David, Sorry, but there is no keyboard shortcut for "Add Clipping." You can only click the "Add Clipping" button or you can drag and drop from a resource into the clipping document.

Hi David, Logos can quit suddenly for a number of reasons. In order to diagnose the issue, you need to collect and post your logs (using the paperclip icon in the forum editor). Follow the link in my signature line below to find out how to collect the Logos crash logs.
