The time is estimated. The size of your libray determines how long it will take to index. Computer speed, ram, apps open, all of these affect indexing time.
Melissa, to find out if you have the latest, go to the question mark in the upper right hand corner of the software andleft click it. Then left click "About Logos Bible Software". The numbers should read " 4.ob (4.02.3.7243)
I know you corrected to April. Yes, it I've checked the number and that is what I've now
If you install 4.0b RC1 from the link provided below, it won't put that system on the beta track. It will only download updates to future 4.0b releases. http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/InstallerBeta/Logos4Setup.exe
Melissa, I downloaded and installed from the link but it does not say RC just the 4ob and the long
I woke up this morning to find 50 more titles appearing on my iPhone library, some of which I have very much wanted to read on the iPhone. This is very nice indeed. Thank you Logos!
Lucky you. I have the Bible Study Library (cross grade upgrade) and haven't gotten any new books in some time. One thing I just did notice
Cool thanks.. I guess I am looking for the (Life Application Bible Studies: NLT) rather then the life application commentary. Although that life application commentary looks pretty good. I did not think to check out those websites..
There are several of the Bibles which have the study notes listed in Logos as the

Oops. Thought I quoted the message I was replying to. It was the one who reads Bible Knowledge Commentary.

I vote for that one too. I also like Bible Reader's Companion by Larry O Richards. He has the Every Prayer, Woman, Man, Angel, etc series too which are also not available for iphone/ipod. The Iphone ap is a Godsend for me as I have a repetative stress problem with my mouse hand and find reading on the Touch to be much better for me. Unfortunately, the

  • Re: Trouble with duplicate reading plans - chronological Bible plan the issue???

Are you by any chance marking your reading plan read on both the ipod/iphone AND on the computer? When I did that, I did get duplicate reading plans listed. If I read and mark read in one and then sync, I don't get the duplicates.

  • Missing verses in Numbers on Ipod Touch

I searched but couldn't find that this has been reported. I'm reading along in Numbers 34 and come to verse 19 which says: "19. These are the tribes and the names of the leaders: 29:These are the men...." The list is missing. I'm reading the New Living Testament on the Ipod Touch. In the version on the computer, it's there.

It's be a good one. I found his Encyclopedia of Bible Words in the Bibliography of book being used for a special study and bought the hard copy. I've not regretted it and have ordered the electronic pre-order. I find his Bible Reader's Companion to be very helpful when I need something to give me a good understanding of what I'm reading without going

  • Re: Preferred Bible - Reference lookup on iPhone

Well, that stinks. Hope it gets fixed in future updates. That reference look-up is important and knda nullifies the value of reading anything other than the actual scripture in offline mode.

Does the reference lookup work in offline mode? Mine doesn't. I tap on the reference and it just goes to the screen where the menu is at the bottom and the text is in the middle in a smaller window.

I have a feeling that there are a LOT of people who share that mentality. I have the Bible Study with a number of packages added as well as some individual items. I have more than I'll ever be able to read in my Bible Study software as well as print Christian Fiction books, and yet I find myself starting to order something else of course by a favorite

An easy way to do this would be to turn off the WIFI, then all the books that show in your library are your offline books.

I don't recall seeing anything on this, but when I tap on a bible reference link in offline mode, I don't get the ref to pop up. Is this a bug or not available. I do have the Bible tagged for offline reading and it's also set as my default Bible. (ESV), even thought I usually read from the NLT. I chose ESV since it has the reverse interlinear and it

  • Re: iPhone vrs iTouch?

You guys have probably already discovered these features but I'm just finding them. The verse look up when you are in a Bible is awesome and so fast. Also, I noticed that when I mark favorites on the ipod, when I sync, they show up as mobile favorites in Logos 4 and I can access them. That lets me then highlight in L4 so I've got them. Sure hope we

For me, the biggest advantage of the Ipod Touch over the Iphone is that once you purchase your Ipod, you have no monthly expense to use it, whereas the Iphone has a hefty monthly fee, since it's a telephone too, I guess, but way to pricey for me. I just purchased my 32g ipod touch yesterday. I went for the 32 since the 8g was 195 at Walmart (199 from
