  • Re: Finding Offline Marked Books

What I'd like to know is if the Logos Bible Study Magazine is available for offline reading. Anybody? I just got my Ipod touch this afternoon and am loving it. As for me, I don't really care if it never has more than readng function offline. That's why I bought it. So I don't have to lug several books with me. It'll be wonderful when I go on vacation

  • Re: TIPS for e-reading vs. books

I have it slightly differently but with the same results. I have three columns open. The first is the Passage Guide/My Bibles. The 2nd column is my Commentaries, and the third is the Info, favorites, explorer, text comparison, and highlighting. These are the ones I use most when I'm studying, so this gives me what I need quickly. I tried it your way

  • Re: Printed NLT vs. Logos digital NLT?

What you are looking for is listed in my library as the New Living Translation Study Bible. It is the study notes that goes with the printed Bible. I have a separate disk that is the NLT Study Bible Libronix Bible Study Software. I'm pretty sure that I got it when I purchased the NLT Study Bible from Tyndale right after it came out.

  • Re: Updates; current version and problems

My system just finished dowloading 96 megs of updates and is almost finished indexing, but I can't see any difference. Still don't have the ability to save the current layout or the highlighting options mentioned as coming from Beta. I went to the link for release notes and the last one is dated last month. Nothing about what I just downloaded. Any

  • Re: New desktop computer question

I remember an xt with a 40 mg HD with an RLL controller to 76mg and couldn't imagine needing anything more. Both my desktop and my laptop are over 6 years old (desktop probably 8-10). I run Logos on the laptop with 2 mgs of RAM. It's slow, but it works. My Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop, though about six years old, (upgraded hard drive and memory) seemed

  • Re: Blue Screen

Are you running any downloaded screen savers? Or perhaps anything like the Weather desktop? I was getting the blue screen, and it was getting more and more frequent, so I went back and uninstalled the weather desktop AND the screen saver I loved from Day One (the publisher of those wonderful Opening Up Commentaries), and I haven't had it happen again

  • Re: One Year Bible Reading Plan

Does your Church follow a Lectionary? If so, have you checked the appropriate Lectionary to see if it includes the reading plan? I've not looked at any of the Lectionary since my Southern Baptist church doesn't use one.

  • Re: iphone offline mode

3rd Generation doesn't have a 16 gig. The 8 is 199 and the 32 is only 100.00 more so think I'm thinking I'll save a little longer and go for the bigger one. Thanks for the info, though. I should have waited before buying the new Ipod Nano.

  • Re: iphone offline mode

I'm seriously thinking of buying an ipod touch specifically for the offline reading capabilities, as I live in an area where there is very little wi-fi and none where I would be. I'm not going to starbucks when I can read from home where I have the wi-fi. So...I'll want to be able to download some of my books for offline reading. How big of an ipod

  • Re: Pronouncing Bible Names

That's good news that you are working on the audio pronunciation. I also have the book with CD and was really disappointed with no audio. I'm one of those lower end users. I have the Bible Study V4. I just do not need and would not use much of what's in either the Leaders or Scholars versions. I'll also speak up for an improved Read Aloud feature. That

  • Re: Best layout for devotionals?

I have ver SR7(4.0.3.3272) Under Interesting Words, I have SermonCentral.com. No Compare Versions anywhere....default passage guide, not greyed out or anything. It's just not there. I'm connected to the internet so should have the latest version available, I'd think... Sorry about not starting a new thread. I see Previous topic and next topic but not

It works. I've been wondering the same thing. I have two favorite devotionals and after prioritizing them, and closing the library F5 while on the home page and Presto! Both my favorite devotionals were there. Thanks for this. While I have the floor, I have the MP manuels and they show in the Passage Guide, Compare Versions. However, I can't find this

Bob, Have you installed Logos 4? When I read that I could dowload logos 3 compatible versons of the V4 resources, I was very quick to do as instructed (can't remember where I read how to do it, but it worked perfectly. The resources are available in both versions of Logos. I didn't have to download them individually.
