  • Link Dictionary to resource

I simply want to link a particular resource with a particular dictionary or lexicon. For example, I now have my Latin resources linked to the Lewis and Short, but if I want to change that to the OLD for one particular resource (say Nepos). So far I can find nothing which explains how to do this.

  • Dictionary Associations in Mobile App

Okay, I give up. Reading the LXX on the PC or Mac version of the software has Greek dictionaries prioritized. When I read on a mobile app (both iPad and iPhone) looking up a word takes me to a Hebrew dictionary. I do not want that. I can find nothing online which tells me how to change this. Suggestions?

  • Re: LXX dictionaries in iPhone app

When I use the "lookup" function, all I get is references to the Hebrew, nothing related to the Greek. I have Swete for the LXX, not Ralfs.

  • LXX dictionaries in iPhone app

When I click to get information in the LXX on a word, it gives me links only to Hebrew resources. How do I change that so that it links to Greek resources instead?

  • Re: Complex Morphological search

Okay, so in 1 John 5:7-8 TR you have οἱ μαρτυροῦντες twice and in 5:8 closely associated with neuter nouns. I want to check as much Greek literature as possible to see if there is any kind of parallel construction.

  • Complex Morphological search

Not sure of the best forum to ask this, but here goes: I want to do a complex morphological search through all my Greek text (I have the Perseus collection) which involved finding two masculine participles in close association with neuter nouns. I have looked through a lot of the help files and am not finding anything which would really speak to how

  • Persesus Classical Collection: Adding Resources

The Perseus Classical Collection is what sucked me into the world of Logos (hey, the weather's not too bad in here, actually). Now, Tufts is adding various resources to that collection all the time. Is there a way to get the new additions for Logos? Or will there be some sort of update soon which will handle that?

Ok, if worse comes to worse, and this doesn't work, will uninstall/reinstall work? I am assuming that the updates are included in the download?

  • iPad/iPhone LXX changing lookup

On my PC, when I want to look up something for my daily LXX reading, I get the underlying Hebrew, Strong's Concordance (essentially worthless, but oh well), and an English definition that appears to be tied to Thackery. If I do the double click on the word, it takes me to the first Greek resource that actually has the word. But on the iPad/iPhone, all

  • Re: Morph and Lemma searches in Latin Texts

That is a great tip as well. I feel that my ability to use Logos has been greatly enhanced...

Optime (Latin for "really great"). That did the trick perfectly. I appreciate the help, and hope this helps others as well...

  • Re: Morph and Lemma searches in Latin Texts

Ok, that does seem to do it, although it also brings up a bunch of stuff from English as well. Is there a way to limit the search to a particular group of texts, such as all the Latin texts from the Perseus collection?

  • Morph and Lemma searches in Latin Texts

These types of searches are pretty easy in Greek and Hebrew, but I have occasional need to do so in the Latin texts (especially in the Perseus collection). So far, I only seem able to do basic searches, and it only does exact matches, even if the "match all word forms" or "match case" options are clicked. In my old Bible software program, one simply

  • Re: Apostolic Fathers Interlinear Format

Thanks for all the responses so far. No, this doesn't seem to be the case, at least between my iPhone and my PC. I immediately turned off the interlinear for AF on the desktop (it came as the default setting). I have shut down Logos on the PC, started and restarted the phone, to no avail. In teaching ancient Greek, I have always "preached" that interlinears

  • Apostolic Fathers Interlinear Format

I have no problem with this on the PC, but on my iPhone 4 I can see no way to turn of the interlinear, which I find highly annoying. Any suggestions?
