Hi, Richard. Yes, I tried to delete the extra messages, but it was already too late. Well, if that's the worst thing I do today, I guess it'll be a good day overall - {grin}. Pax...

I amvery sorry for the multiple posts, but I kept getting a server error message ("Sorry, there was a problem with your last request! Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too."). However, I now see that

I had a surprise, myself, in checking out the reverse interlinear NRSV functionality, I found that it worked in almost all Apocrypha books, but not in 2 Esdras. Then I found out that 2 Esdras was last written in Latin, so a Greek wouldn't/shouldn't work, I guess. :-) Merry Christmas, everyone. Pax...

(Hmmm... This is my second attempt at a reply to Glenn - the first was rejected with a server error message - hopefully this second attempt will not end up being redundant.) I used to own both the NICOT/NT and the Anchor Yale Bible. I gave the NICOT/NT license away to a minister (along with the licenses to a lot of other resources) but kept the Anchor
I was wondering what the forum members thoughts are on NOCOT/NT versus The Anchor Yale Bible. I am conservative with strong leanings as of late toward reformed as I study more and try and learn what I can about predestination and election, just so you have a brief bit of info about me. Really would appreciate input from those

  • Re: How do I get my commentaries to auto follow default Bible?
just checking - what version of Logos are you using?
Hi, Graham. I'm using both L4 (on my Win XP desktop) and L5 (on my Win 7 laptop). However, the behavior (or maybe lack of behavior) is exactly the same in both. If I link, say a Bible and a commentary (by selecting the same letter for each), they track just fine

  • Re: Differing L4 and L5 Bible Reading Plan Settings

Hi, Dave. Well, I will experiment a bit with layout arrangements, I guess. However, it then seems too bad that one can't start the program with a favorite layout already loaded, replacing the "normal" start page. And, I am still a bit annoyed that there are no Bible Reading Plan settings to allow for such customization normally. [:'(] Thanks for your
Peace, Fred! What you are experiencing should definitely NOT happen! [...] Edit: Please note! You do not have to have these in a Layout for the link to persist! The link should always persist until you erase it! *smile*
Hmmm... I may end up having to call Logos tech support then... Thanks for that info
An alternative method is to use Explorer (In Tools). It is so simple, fast. Explorer follows your open Bible. P A
Yes, I like the little Explorer tool. I even have an icon for it on my toolbar (by dragging it from the Tools menu), for "one-click exploring" - {g}.
How are you loading the Plan? From Home page?
Yes, Dave.
They're part of the 'layout'. You have to save your layout.
Ah, thanks - I'll try doing that, DMB.
Plus when you move your commentary, your Bible's going to get whip-sawed up and down the mountain-side. So, wear a seat-belt.
• Re: How do I get my commentaries to auto follow default Bible?
You need to set the commentary to the same character than the bible you want it to follow, then this works - its a basic feature of Logos.
How does one make the links persist, though? The links work well after you set them, but, the next time you open Logos, they're gone. (???) Thanks.

  • Differing L4 and L5 Bible Reading Plan Settings

I have L5 installed on my Win 7 SP1 X84 laptop, but still have L4 installed on my Win XP SP3 X86 desktop (because L5 cannot be used with Win XP). I currently have a Bible Reading Plan configured, and it consistently shows the correct date and reading on both machines. (Good so far...) However, when I load the Reading Plan in L4, the Bible Reading comes
