  • Library - Details view

Intermittent problem: when searching library in "Details view" the icons for the books listed in the search are sometimes greyed out. When click on a greyed out icon, the full details of the book selected display correctly in colour (in the box to the right) - but icon still greyed out. Any suggestions?

  • Re: Visual Copy

Hi Bradley I am having very strange problems with Visual Copy where it fails to copy the text I have selected and displays something else instead. If I copy a verse from NIV - say Romans 6:1 - copy works well. But if I then try & use VC to copy a quotation from Stott's commentary on Romans (BST) page 166, I end up with Romans 6:17-18 from some unspecified

  • Visual Copy

Visual copy very promising but has significant problems at this stage. e.g. coping poetry from Hosea 2 - if use visual copy I have to re-select the required template every time - and since I am using a very nice parchment background, I have to re-enter the Bible reference each time as well. All very clumsy & tedious. Further the text is often poorly

  • Book contents button >> not displayed - have to use cntrl + shift + C

Some books in my library - e.g. New Bible Commentary & NTSK - have lost the >> command to open book contents - have to use cntrl + shift + C to do this. This is true for two computers and I have rebuilt the index on one of them. This may not be a specifically Logos 6 problem but can anyone help please? Thanks Brian

  • Re: Indexing stuck at 0%

I had to use "rebuild index" command.

Now works fine without explanation - probably indexing happening in background. Thanks for helpful responses.

Cancel my query re Psalms Explorer - inexplicably now working. Could this have been due to indexing?

Psalms Explorer does open but just to a blank window. Nothing seems to work. If enter a reference it displays a down arrow on RHS of window but this doesn't do anything either. Is there something I am missing? Thanks Brian

  • Lexham English Bible / NA 28 highlighting

Logos video on layouts shows presenter highlighting LEB - but NA28 highlights too as he does this. Is this a programme setting? Does it only work with the NA28 text in the Platinum base package & above (I only upgraded to Gold)? Thanks Brian

  • Psalms Explorer / Form & Structure of the Psalms

Psalms explorer - cannot get it to work at all (Proverbs Explorer is fine). Although Logos videos show and option under Interactive Media called "Form & Structure of the Psalms" this is not in Logos 6 Gold menu. Is this the same as Psalms Explorer? Any thoughts? Thanks Brian

Continuing problems with Visual Copy Slow Crashes Trying to copy Hosea 14:1 and get mass of verses on 1 slide Occasionally works OK but generally of little use. Disappointed that a feature with such potential is released in this way. Brian

  • Re: Visual Copy probably not worth it for serious use

I too thought that Visual Copy was a killer feature. Occasionally it works well. On other occasions it takes 1-2 MINUTES to copy one Bible verse!!!! (Fast computer, not indexing, etc. - same problem on second computer) This renders the feature useless. I do hope that it can be fixed. It has great potential. Brian

  • [acknowledged]Visual copy

Visual copy in Logos 6 incredibly slow, causes system crashes & availability of templates varies without explanation. Also does not appear that a default template can be selected - i.e. more time wasted as select new template for copied text. Using a reasonably fast computer with SSD and trying to visually copy to Power Point slides - too slow to be

  • Re: Syntax Searches

Hi David Thanks so much for your reply. I copied what you had done but could not emulate dotted lines - how did you do that? Syntax query did not work - is that because it needs dotted lines? These searches appear quite complicated, is there an instruction manual to be found? I siml do not understand all the terminology & concepts. Thanks again Brian
