  • Re: Pasting text in Mac won't add reference.

Okay, so something just occurred to me and it worked. When pasting text into a document there are several different ways to do this: 1. Keep Source Formatting 2. Match Formatting 3. Keep Text Only The default setting for Office programs to keep source formatting. This automatically tries to generate a footnote. Since OneNote doesn't have footnotes the

Thanks everyone for the help. By way of update, I installed Office 2016 Preview for Mac today and the citation function does work with Word, but still doesn't work with OneNote. However it does work with OneNote on Windows.

I wasn't sure if it is something Logos can accomplish or if it's something impossible on their end. So far we haven't heard from Logos, so I don't know. The feature works on my PC when I'm using the Chrome browser, Evernote, Wordpress, OneNote, Google Docs, etc.... So it would seem that either it's something fundamental the Mac architecture that would

Thanks. However as I mentioned above this just creates an extra-step for me to get the information to where I actually need it and I can take another route that would work just as well.

Jack, To clarify, you're working from a mac? But as I said, I don't need Word. I use OneNote and Evernote. At best, this would only mean that I would have to copy/paste into Word and then copy/paste from Word into OneNote and hope that it transfers the citation data. But if it only copies citation data into a footnote then I'm sure it would just be

I have also tried the following: Wordpress Google Docs Notes Evernote Microsoft Word (online via OneDrive) Now add to that OneNote, Pages, Mail, and any where in Chrome then it looks like the feature either doesn't work for Mac or else there is a bug. I have an Office365 subscription and could install it on to my Mac if I wanted to, but I'd rather not

OneNote is the primary app I'm using. However I have also tried Pages, Mail, and the Chrome web browser. The only time pasting works proper (by automatically adding a reference) is when I paste into a Logos 6 note file.

  • [ACK]Pasting text in Mac won't add reference.

So when using the Windows version of Logos 6 (and prior versions) you can select a chunk of text and paste it into a word processor or OneNote and it will automatically add in the reference material. This doesn't work on Mac. Is there something I need to do to enable this feature or is this feature simply missing for the Mac version? If it is missing

  • Note Tagging?

Hi. I was wondering how tags function on notes. When I've tagged a note and then tried searching for that note via the tag, nothing comes up. For instance suppose I create a note on a selection from something Shedd says in his Dogmatic Theology. I then tag that note with "Witness of the Holy Spirit." When I then do a search for "Witness of the Holy

On the Faithlife group page, when posting a new discussion topic, I see no format tools besides italics and bold. Does it support html tags or is there some other way to access more formatting options? Also, is there a way to link to Logos resources? For instance, suppose I quote from one of Plato's dialogues on a Faithlife Group page. Can I then link
