I'm the not "perfect" person to respond, but, from what I have seen from people is, yes. But at the same time, they are obviously different, so you would probably want to invest in a smaller training for the new things in L8. John Fallahee has a special right now for L8 training, new features only, download for as low as $25, if you are a VIP member

I will never argue my investment in Logos is larger than anyones. I only say my investment is much larger than I should have put into it-- to this point, anyway. Having gotten L3 at a "bargain price" $300-400 instead of the $600+ it was being offered at, but, still much more than I should have paid, given my income levels (I had just lost my job; but

Well, maybe I will be able to help, because it seems my entire 10 years with Logos has resulted in a tone of such instances-- ie, "non-concrete" ones at this point; but, I'm sure many more will continue for me. :( Up until this point, I have used Logos very little. Every so often, I attempt to use it. Get frustrated, shut er down, and wait for the next

Sean Always glad to get an "official" response from an "official person who is officially" oh never mind, you get the picture :D Thank you for responding. Several people have dealt with me over the past decade. I pray patiently, but, some have all but given up. Many, probably never understanding WHY I have so many issues with something they clearly

Doc B. Im discovering quite a few courses at Udemy that are of great interest. Never heard of them, but, quite a few courses right now at $10. I'm thinking right now DZ's Greek Made Simple and a few to help at work, and wow. I like the concept. Dont know how great the courses are, but, I did sample several Greek and Hebrew courses too. Thanks again

Thanks Doc B. I'm currently signed up with John's monthly package. It's $15/mo, $5 cheaper than MPs, but, if one does an annual subscription with MP, there's not a huge difference. MP is definitely polished, which is good, but, feels a bit too slick for me. I could attend an MP live class, honestly, I prefer that; unfortunately, it's still 2 hours off

Thanks for that boost of confidence. Ha! Well, you've always been a straight shooter with me. So, why stop now? Appreciate it.

This has been the frustration I have had with Logos for over a decade.
and will probably have for many more as Faithlife will never have the necessary computer power. https

Now that brings up another issue. I'm not disagreeing at all, but, at the same time, I can't see me having the time to "follow the blogs, watching the FL videos, trying the various 3rd party vendors". I do try to follow some of the blogs, and some of the videos, and now the LL videos and even a couple personal training sessions. Yet, it is all extremely

You are yet another one who has been through many of my frustrations over the years. And, Actually, if I am not mistaken, were one who helped turn me around back on L7. So, to you as well, THANK YOU! Where the heck am I messed up at? Well, other than having the wrong words for fuzzy search. For some reason, I dont think it would have ever dawned on

Hmm. Ok, it's not google I used. It is indeed Duckduckgo. Im sure google works the same. (And, more people understand "google" than DDG. Im not sure what DLNT is, but, I do see it is part of the link. I appreciate how you seem to always understand what I am not saying correctly. Thats the second time this month, and probably the 100th time overall.

Graham, Your assumptions are spot on. I was indeed intending to hunt down "Deny themselves" as opposed to "Deny yourself". n This has been the frustration I have had with Logos for over a decade. Upon my next correspondence with John., I will ask again, why or how the verses came up out of Bible-book order. He told me last week, but, I do forget his

Always good to have you chime in. You've been one who has seen me rant, the first time, and seen me change directions. You have been compassionate, and stern and always a pleasure. As one who teaches, and has taught, I must admit, that I do understand when a teacher "breaks through" and yes, one can see it. It is incredible. I have not gone through

To a certain degree, that is my point. We willingly pay for training on complex software. Whether recreational, or business. So, while I still dont necessarily have the same appreciation for MP, as others do, EVEN IF he is purely in it for the money, that is a judgement I need not make. That is a judgement I am better off leaving for God. God knows

I felt the way I left you, was no more appropriate than the way you left me. Therefore, I thought I would share an example of why I am frustrated with the entire Logos software. and why I do not think my eternal security is dependent upon my loving Logos. Thanks to John Falahee, I am getting some training. He has proven to me he is about seeing people

I find myself in a very bad position, as I have not kept my thoughts to myself. With Logos, and certainly not with Morris and yet, I am changing my mind with Logos. And various "paid trainers". My intent is not to necessarily bash or promote anyone. But, when it comes to MP, I do feel the same way, that his sole purpose is to suck more money from us

So I call FL and it appears that these changes came as a result of the recent Microsoft updates that pretty much screwed everything up over the past couple months. IF I am misunderstanding her correctly, FL is a 3rd party (Hmmm. Interesting) and therefore, due to the changes, needs to be able to access cookies as a 3rd party. Someone at FL can clarify

Actually, no, I have not seen that. I'm just a bit paranoid over 3rd party cookies, and software and websites telling me to enable them, well, that just doesnt fly too well with me. Its like all these permissions everyone just allows on their phones. I want to know why an app needs to be able to read my contacts, disable this and that, rearrange things
