  • Logs hangs on splash screen after 8.4 SR1

Since Logos installed 8.4 SR1, I can't open the program. It just hangs on the splash screen. I tried letting it go and after 3 time of over 10 minutes each, I decided I needed help. Can someone please offer a solution? I need my Logos for Bible study on Friday.

  • Re: BUG: Having to Use Force Sync For Notes

I am having the same problem exactly. Thanks to Reuben in the other thread listed above for the suggestion to force sync. That solution is not widely publicized. Internet is turned on on all my machines and the the only way I can sync between machines is to force sync. Is this behavior intended?

Thank you for the additional advice. I am not opposed to your idea but am hoping that FaithLife will offer me a better one. My resources are on their servers and they can, if they will, unhide them from their end. If they won't, your suggestion is definately plan B but given risk versus benefit FaithLIfe is the better option. Once again, Thank You

Thanks for the link. When I first contacted them, they suggested that I reach out to Bradley Granger on the Forums. Now they say Bradley is out of town and suggest I try and unhide individually. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you for the suggestion. It did some checking and it seems a high risk operation that could take some time to recover from it I make a mistake or even bump the desk. I will definitely put it in my tool bag though. But what I am really hoping for is someone from FaithLife to offer some help that doesn't involve hours of clicking or the potential

Thank you so much for responding. I was, however, aware of the process you described which is the same as unhiding each resource separately. That is what I am trying to avoid if possible as it is very time consuming. I am hoping that someone can help me unhide all my resources in bulk vice one at a time. Customer service at Logos suggested I reach out

  • An Open Request for help from Bradley Granger or Someone Who Can Help me

At one time when I didn’t know how to use Logos as well as I do now I hid several hundred resources thinking that was a good idea. I understand now that I can only unhide the resources one at a time from my end. I saw on the forums that some time ago Bradley Granger unhid all the resources for a customer from your end. Can you please help me unhide

  • Looking for a Search Strategy

If I want to fully leverage the power of Logos 7 searching, what would be the best way to search the entire Bible for any reference either expressed or implied for the idea "The Lord is One" and also for the idea "The Lord never changes?" Thanks for any help. IHSA

  • Re: Clean (New) install of Logos

I just found another folder in C:\program files Libronix that says resources and contains 1721 files which I assume are resources I bought with Libronix. My Logos resources folder has 4956 files in it. Are the LIbronix resource files duplicates of the ones in the Logos resource file?

  • Re: Clean (New) install of Logos

I'm talking about a fresh reinstall. A normal uninstall leaves the Logos folder with the Documents sub-folder intact; whilst the Data sub-folder with resources is removed. Manually deleting the base Logos folder before reinstalling can address issues like:- folder Permissions, which may have been messed up previously corrupt or invalid databases in

Thank you Mark. I would have never thought of removing Libronix as well as Logos. I just looked and there are LIbronix residuals dating back 10 years. I assumed that the Logos installs would have removed those. No wonder I have trouble with this machine. No telling how many broken registry entries or stray dll's are lurking around. On another related

Found it! Thanks Graham. It is not exactly where the wiki says it should be buy you put me on the right "path" :) to find it. Much obliged. That;s why these forums are so valuable. I would have never thought to look there.

Thanks Dave! Good advice about saving the resource folder. I hadn't thought about that because I can't seem to find my resource folder. It is not in \Logos... I assumed everything is kept in the cloud. Can you suggest a path I could look for. Show hidden folders is enabled.

Thank you for your informative, if condescending, snarky reply. If I offended you in some way, I apologize. I have an IT background but with Logos being in a class by itself, I was just looking for some information about the risks of a complete uninstall. If my succinctness was perceived as rude, that was not my intent. I thought I was communicating

Logos 6 latest update. Windows 10 i7 3.33 12 GB of ram. I have trouble installing updates, visual copy doesn't work right, copy is spaodiac and the list goes on. At this point, I am not interested in trying to solve individual problems (already did that) but rather would appreciate some advice on the risks benefits of doing a clean install of Logos

  • Clean (New) install of Logos

I have a myriad of small problems with Logos 6 on one of my computers. It works great on my others. The computer I am having trouble with has installs of Logos dating back to Libronox days and I am wondering if the best plan would be to completely uninstall Logos(even in the registry) and download the core engine and reinstall it fresh. I am aware of
