• Re: the eclipse of October 30, 1207 BC as reported in Joshua - new thoughts on
Paul, dogma works great on Sunday mornings. But the remainder of the week, you need a little more. That's why Jesus, Paul, and the early Christian leaders spent so much time regarding questioned apologetics ... with believers, no less. Quite a number of jews even re-wrote the text, due to the obvious issues. Plus, on Sunday mornings

Dave, I may have inadvertently opened an old layout when I was checking things. I have eliminated all of my old layouts and am only using two that I have built from scratch. I'll watch this closely and post logs if there is another shut down. Thanks to you, Alabama, and Graham for all of your help.

Yes the last layout was built from scratch. I didn't realize that I had my Startup set that way. I just changed it to local.
It's best to rebuild the layout(s). If it still crashes then upload logs as before.
I hate to appear so ignorant, but what do you mean by rebuild the layout? Is there a command to enter into the command bar or do I just start from scratch making a layout? Thanks Dave.

Still crashes if I try to "close all panels." It is my Old Testament layouts that seemed to have caused the crashes, but I cannot figure out why.

I'm using Mac. I contacted Logos tech and they did a screen share and could make no progress. They said the problem was with a program called mono and suggested I contact Apple tech which I did. There was nothing they could do because mono was not an Apple product. I hope some one has a simple solution for this problem.

When I try to change to a saved layout, the program shuts down. Here are the logs.

Hey, Francis, it still takes a double click for me. I'm using a Mac.

No.
Thanks Randall. My use of quotation marks was meant to imply that I knew the "purchase" would be free. Reading Ben's response, I can't decipher if we will need to "purchase" a second item, just as we had to "purchase" the first.
Makes sense. Sorry I misunderstood.

The reverse interlinear should be up soon.
Will that require a separate "purchase"?
No. Ben Amundgaard (Faithlife) | Forum Activity | Replied : Yesterday 5:39 PM This should all be rolling out soon (I'm waiting on a few final details). There will be a separate product

I am not angry, but I am very disappointed in the way FL has handled this whole issue. I had no choice when it changed from verse to paragraph form and no choice when it went back to verse form. Also, no information was given as to when either of the changes would be made. They simply happened. Again, I'm not angry, and I hope FL has learned from this

My NASB is now back in verse form. Is the paragraph form gone for good or do we get a choice as to format?

But to go even further, punctuation is also imposed on the next. Generally, rules of English grammar are used in the translation of any Biblical text into English. David, I appreciate
