  • footnote numbers

Suddenly, footnote numbers are not appearing in my documents. What I mean is this: If I copy some text from a commentary for example and paste it into a Word document, the reference is numbered in the text, but the accompanying number does not show up in the footnote citation. This is working in Logos 3 fine but not in Logos 4. Any suggestions? Soli

Kevin, I did everything you suggested including the "Rebuild Bible Index", but nothing worked. Thanks for trying to help. Soli Deo Gloria Randy

  • empty Bible seach analysis

In 4.0d when I search on a lemma in a Bible search, if I try to use the analysis form I get a blank screen except for the number of hits and verses. Is there a fix or is this a bug? Soli Deo Gloria Randy

  • format of "copy Bible verses"

Since the upgrade to 4.0d, the copy Bible verses format always defaults to "fully formatted" when I open L4. I have created a style and before 4.0d, when I opened L4 it would default to the last setting I had in the "copy Bible verses"tab. Even when I open a saved layout that contained my style, the copy Bible verses tab defaults to fully formatted

Jacob, I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I just found your reply today. I don't know how I missed it before. I followed your instructions and that seems to have fixed the problem. I got no error messages or requests for evaluation from Windows Explorer when I deleted the files. The only message I got was the "are you sure you want

  • Re: commentaries in passage guide

Fred, I tried your suggestion. It did not clear up the problem (which also exists for the exegetical guide by the way). I cannot move a category up or down on the list permanently. For example, if I decide I'd like the commentaries move from position 2 to position 4, I'd drag it to the new position. It will stay in that position for the rest of that

  • Re: commentaries in passage guide

Fred, I was trying to change the order of the categories on the default passage guide. The video on the passage guide says that is possible by dragging a category to a new position (order) in the list of categories. That works temporarily, but if I close Logos and reopen it, the order reverts back to the previous one. Again, the only way for me to permanently

  • Re: commentaries in passage guide

There is definitely something wrong with the left panel of the passage guide. I cannot permanently change the order of the categories (commentaries, biblical people, biblical places, biblical things, etc.) without deleting all categories and them adding them in the new order. If I simple move the category it only remains in the new position during that

Dave, I fixed the problem by deleting all of the categories in the left hand pane and then added them in the order that I wanted them. Now the commentaries remain in the position I assigned them. Soli Deo Glria, Randy

  • commentaries in passage guide

For some unknown reason commentaries now appear as the last item in the left pane of my passage guide. No matter how many times I have moved it to the position I want for it (just below my content) whenever I restart Logos 4.0c, it always ends up at the bottom. This is even true when I go to layouts. Although the snap shot show "commentaries" where
