Whenever I search my library, I get the message at the top "Updating library catalog. List maybe incomplete." How do I bring that process to an end? Soli Deo Gloria

Melissa, The "Rebuild Index" command seems to have done the trick. I did let Logos run overnight and I'm attaching the logs. Thanks to all that have helped, but especially to you. Soli Deo Gloria 1805.Logos Log Files.zip

Melissa, I am following your instructions. The indexer has been running all day and still reports one minute remaining. I will allow it to run all night as you said and will attach the new log files in the morning. Might I try the "rebuild index" command, or should I wait for you to look over the log files? Soli Deo Gloria

Melissa, Yes, Logos 4 does open. The only wat I can get the Logos icon out of the system tray is to use the Task Manager and under the processes tab end the Logos indexing process. Of course when I start Logos again, the indexing process starts again but always hangs up with one minute remaining. Soli Deo Gloria

Thank you, Rosie et.at. I have rebooted and the indexing started again, It gets to the point where there is one minute remaining and then it goes no further. The Logos icon remains in my system tray and when I hover the mouse over it I get the message "Logos Bible Software is indexing (one minute remaining). I am attaching a zipped log file. Soli Deo

Since upgrading to 4.0c the indexing process has been stuck on 1 minute remaining for the last three hours. Any suggestions? Soli Deo Gloria

  • passage lists in 4.0c

I like the new passage list in 4.0c, but I have a question. Can I copy the passages in the list to Word with any format? I have not be able to find how to copy the passages in any format other than the one that 4.0c defaults to. I would like to copy them fully formatted or use my own derived format. Is that possible? Thanks, Soli Deo Gloria, Randy

  • Coping Bible text to Word

I have run into an interesting situation when using "copy Bible Verses." I use Word 2007 and have my default font set as Times New Roman 12 pt. If I start with a blank document and the first thing I do is copy Bible verses, the text is in Calibri 11 pt. It does not matter what style of "copy Bible verses" I use. But if I type any text in my Word document

  • Re: copying "LORD" becomes "Lord" when pasted

Rosie, I'm using version 4.0b SR-2(4.02.3.8750). If I use Ctrl+C the text copies correctly. Of course the verse refenence is then down in a footnote and not with the text. The text does not copy correctly (no small caps) if I use the copy Bible verse tool either by hitting the "copy" button or the "copy and paste" button. I hope this is resolved in

I am ttying to paste into the Mac program Pages. I do not have "copy footnotes" selected. It is not selected in Windows either but it still gives the citation as a footnote. "Copy citations" is selected on both platforms.

  • A18 and footnotes

I have L4 on my windows notebook and on my imac. In Windows when I copy text from a commentary, for example, it footnotes the reference. On the imac that does not happen. Is that function not yet ready or am I missing something simple? Thanks for your help. Soli Deo Gloria, Randy
