Thanks Dave, that seems to have been the problem.

  • Re: Logos Shuts Down When Changing Layouts

I'm using Mac. I contacted Logos tech and they did a screen share and could make no progress. They said the problem was with a program called mono and suggested I contact Apple tech which I did. There was nothing they could do because mono was not an Apple product. I hope some one has a simple solution for this problem.

  • Logos Shuts Down When Changing Layouts

When I try to change to a saved layout, the program shuts down. Here are the logs.

Hey, Francis, it still takes a double click for me. I'm using a Mac.

No.
Thanks Randall. My use of quotation marks was meant to imply that I knew the "purchase" would be free. Reading Ben's response, I can't decipher if we will need to "purchase" a second item, just as we had to "purchase" the first.
Makes sense. Sorry I misunderstood.

The reverse interlinear should be up soon.
Will that require a separate "purchase"?
No. Ben Amundgaard (Faithlife) | Forum Activity | Replied : Yesterday 5:39 PM This should all be rolling out soon (I'm waiting on a few final details). There will be a separate product

I am not angry, but I am very disappointed in the way FL has handled this whole issue. I had no choice when it changed from verse to paragraph form and no choice when it went back to verse form. Also, no information was given as to when either of the changes would be made. They simply happened. Again, I'm not angry, and I hope FL has learned from this

  • NASB Verse by Verse Form

My NASB is now back in verse form. Is the paragraph form gone for good or do we get a choice as to format?
I was just pointing out that not only are paragraph markers imposed, but versification is also.
David, this was the point of my post as well. But to go even further, punctuation is also imposed on the next. Generally, rules of English grammar are used in the translation of any Biblical text into English. David, I appreciate
My point is...whether you, Dear Reader, prefer the look and so-called "readability" of paragraph presentation or not isn't the most germane consideration. You now have paragraphs in most all Bibles in Logos, but unless you are particularly critical in your study, even extraordinarily so, you are probably paying a price for your

Thanks for replying Alabama. I knew that it existed, but I appreciate your take on why Logos will probably not publish it.

It would be great if we could get the NASB in paragraph form. Soli Deo Gloria, Randy

  • Re: How many Saved Layouts do you use?

I use 3; one for Old Testament study, one for New Testament study, and one for any special project I'm working on.

  • Copy Bible Verses Unpopulated

I just got a new mac and had my data migrated from the old mac to this new one. Logos seemed to migrate fine. All my resources and saved layouts are there, but when I went to the copy Bible verse tool I could not enter a passage. I clicked on the style choice and while all of the style names were there they were completely empty. If I click on the Bible
