I'm working on getting them back up as FL Ebooks for now.
  • Re: Why all the bundling? Request to Logos/Faithlife staff
@Ben, Can this one be broken up? https://www.logos.com/product/146460/crossway-church-collection I just bought the whole thing, but would prefer to return and only buy 1 volume - "Church Elders"
David, this should be done. Let me know if you run into any problems.

  • Re: Why am I being offered print books?

It's comparing our price with the print price as a point of comparison. It's not offering a print edition.
I see that Sommer's book has a stand-alone page and price, but no way to purchase. Does that mean it's been unbundled but there's a glitch, or...? https://www.logos.com/product/190221/revelation-and-authority-sinai-in-jewish-scripture-and-tradition
Should be purchasable now.
2) In the pricing page, it says connect subscribers get free Bible Study Magazine digital issues (doesn't list if temporary or permanent). I've been with connect since the beginning and I had to purchase volume 10. I did get volume 11 for free but I recently had to purchase volume 12. Are they supposed to be free? Temporary? Link
Will the adoption of this strategy make bringing to Logos much anticipated resources like the missing Baylor Handbook series more likely? This was promised to be in the works. Another want would be BAGD. And other unicorns such as the return to the catalogue of Tov's Textual Criticism of the Hebrew Bible and the abandoned
It would be unfortunate to see very academic discussions and technical commentaries that interact a lot with other published works as "Logos readers editions" (unless there's a way for users to crowd-supply missing tagging especially links)
That is not the plan. We intend to give those resources all the markup we can.
That seems to be a contradiction. The way some may see it, the less markup, the lower the quality.
If that is how you define quality, then yes, they are lower quality. What I'm getting at is that ebooks often have poor formatting, images don't show up properly, etc. Reader editions won't have those quality issues

  • Re: Logos Reader

Perhaps a little more information is in order. We decided to introduce Logos reader editions for a number of reasons, but here are the three biggest: 1. To expand our catalog beyond what we would normally offer by keeping production costs down. Reader editions allow us to include books in our catalog that would otherwise not make it into Logos. While
