Thank you, Mark. I strongly lean toward purchasing one.

Mark, As you use you the Logos app on you Onyx Book Note 10.3, please give us reports. I am considering purchasing one myself. How robust is the Logos App on your Book Note? Is there delay in turning pages? How do maps look? How well do searches work? Are links live and do they work? Does it frequently lock up? Do you need to use the stylus, or does

  • Re: How to download all content onto IPad

JT, do you think that the new iPad pro with 256 Gig memory and upgraded processor would still have trouble with handling 9,000 resources? It claims to be able to replace a laptop, and my laptop has no problem with all my resources.

Please let us just call for preview with a right hand click option. In is annoying as it is.

  • Re: Library

For example, I open the Library tab and type "Ancient Christian Commentary on the Scripture", and none of the first six volumes listed are from the "Ancient Christian Commentary on the Scripture". I find this typical of most searches in the Library. I repeat, there is not easy way to search the library. I love Logos, and use it hours every day. I have

Phil, there is no easy way to search the library, and you can't always trust the search results.

  • Re: I bought one!
i bought a March Madness commentary set today! I am one of those lay people who has been with Logos for awhile. I don’t have a massive collection as it is for my own enjoyment and growth but I love the software and hope it always has a download and own option. Anyway, I looked at samples of them and I even own a volume

  • Re: For those that have used Logos for a while...a question

For well over 20 years I have bought over 90% of my pastor's library from Logos. It is one of the best decisions that I ever made. I have never lost a Logos book in all that time. The Logos books are much more useful as they are tagged and work together. Language study is much more practical and quicker to do. Twenty year old books are as good as new
Well, I just bought NICOT/NICNT on Dec. 18th... If my crystal ball was working, I could have waited and saved $400!
Well, I bought it a several years ago for about $1,300, but I do not feel at all disappointed or a little sick. I felt and still feel that it was well worth what I paid for it, and more. I have had several

  • Re: Question: Collections and Preaching Resources

This may not be what you are looking for, but I find the Tim Keller Sermon Library to be a great resource for great quotes and illustrations that can be used in a sermon, with credit being given to Keller.
Hey All, I am considering buying the ACCS during March Madness. Has it ever been lower than $170? Is the ACCS worth it?
If I did not already own it, I would jump at the chance to pay that price for it.
Wow, I'm not sure if NIC will ever be this low again.
I would agree! I paid almost $600 more for it some years ago. Would love to have gotten this price. No regrets, though. It was worth every penny that I paid. And I have had years of valuable use of the set in the meantime.
Thank you all, this is quite helpful. Anyone have further on the WBC? what makes it great, what purpose does it serve, and why do people like/don't like it? Another thing I should mention is that I'm also dispenstionalist to the core...so the EEC might also be worthwhile (as they come out...frustrating). My interest
I realize that commentary favorites are as subjective as preferred Bible translations and everyone has a strong opinion, but if all my commentary sets were taken away and I was told I could only have one back, I would choose NICOT/NICNT.
I agree completely.

I am humbly grateful for this post. I feel so much more righteous with my mere 7,500 resource library. O, Lord, I thank thee that I am not like other men! (or women, too.)

  • Re: ACCS of the Early Church Fathers - Commentary Guidance

I love it! No one was better on the Church Fathers than Thomas Oden, who edited it. Highly recommend. I have both the Fathers of the Church Series and also Schaff's Church Fathers. But I derive he most value from the ACCS.

I hope our March Madness won't turn into a critique of others' choices.

Yes, it is silly to suppose that someone is saying they rate one work as superior to another by their March Madness votes. Voting all depends upon what one already owns. One hardly plans to buy something

  • Re: March Madness

I will if there is a good price on something that I want or need. I have always found it fun. As for the subscription thing, it is what it is. Logos has every right to the business of their choice. I have the right to participate, or not to participate, in their business model. I do not have the right to tell them what to do. I will not subscribe to

I suppose younger customers are wanting more features. I do not use most of the features Logos already has. I want the books. I want the tagging. I want the language tools. I want quality commentaries. I do not want the software to do more analysis for me. I like the way that I study the Bible now. Certainly, I am out of touch. But I do not understand
