I am thrilled to have the Logos edition of Martyn Lloyd Jones' classic "Studies on the Sermon on the Mount"! That book changed my life in 1975. Honestly, I had made personal book of it, but the moment it became available in a Logos edition, I ordered it. Now many of us would love to see Lloyd Jones' "Romans", also a classic, in Logos format. In addition

"Me thinks that they regret ever offering PBs. " Indeed, that is the feeling I also get. I don't think they are correct if they feel personal books cost them sales. For example, I made a personal book of Martyn Lloyd Jones' "Studies on the Sermon on the Mount". But I immediately purchased the Logos version when it became available. That has been my

No doubt there is consensus for more speed and fixing features to do not work. I agree that organizational improvements for the Library are needed. It would great if the Personal Book Builder could handle pdf files. As for what new books that are needed: I need the Bicentennial Edition of John Wesley's Works, published by Abingdon. It is the only edition

Thank you, Tes. I am interested in learning more about the Ethiopian Church. It has a fascinating history.

Thank you for this file.

Wonderful news! Thanks for letting me know! Actually, I made a personal book of the this resource years ago, but I am delighted to delete my personal book and now purchase the Logos edition. What we need is more of the Doctor!

[quote user="Puddin’"]That’s the quote (the first one is more accurate I think just off the top of my head). Tertullian was writing against an early “Modalist” named Praxeas, who some believe may have been Sabellius (I have not checked this out). The point is, if contemporary Oneness Pentecostals are the supposed equivalent of

The context to the quote is interesting to me. "Now (Christ) will neither be acknowledged as Son if the Father never named Him, nor be believed in as the Sent One if no Sender gave Him a commission: the Father, if any, purposely naming Him; and the Sender, if any, purposely commissioning Him. Everything will be open to suspicion which transgresses a

That is a great line! Love it!

What MJ said! Very good insight.

I am thankful for any and all improvements designed to make Logos Bible Software more touch and pen friendly. I have long complained that this was a major problem with Logos, especially to users of the Windows interface. Thanks Faithlife. And thanks, Robert, for pointing this out.

The iPad works great for Logos reading, but not so great for more detailed Bible study. The Surface Pro works much better for study, but is not as smooth for reading. That is frustrating. Actually, I am the problem with the Surface Pro is not the fault of the Surface Pro. It is Logos' fault for not making their software more touch friendly. Why they

I had a great experience with the Microsoft Surface pro. Obviously, you need at least 8 GB of Ram, and a 256 SSD hard drive. A larger hard drive is a good idea if you can afford it. I used one for 4 years with no problems.

Great post, Cynthia! Lately, I usually post complaining about something. (I really am not that much of a curmudgeon, though some people are shouting, 'Oh, yes he is!') But I want to second Cynthia's post, and say that I love my Logos Bible Software. I have never regretted buying it. It is one of the best investments in my ministry that I ever made.

Just my opinion. It is embarrassing that at this point Logos is still not optimized for touch. That is ridiculous.

I, too, have contacted both Abingdon and Logos a number of times over several years. I agree that Thomas Oden's work on Wesley's Teaching and The Bicentennial Wesley's Works would be awesome. Abingdon has published about 23 Volumes of The Bicentennial Wesley's Works, and more are published every year. It is the only scholarly edition of Wesley's Works

As a long time Logos customer - almost from the get go - and as a Wesleyan in theology, I am disappointed in the new Wesleyan packages from Faithlife. I practically out of debt to Logos at this point , which has been a rare event for the past 20 years. Nothing in these packages tempts me to take out another payment plan. In fact, there is only one thing

I agree.

[quote user="Bruce Dunning"] I had to smile today when I was going through my library to tag resources and came across a review of Logos 2.1d. in the journal Faith and Mission (Volume 17) in the fall of 1999. Since it made me smile, I thought I would share it. [quote] The Logos 2.1d Library System: Scholar’s Edition Edward D. Gravely Ph.D. Student

[quote user="Rosie Perera"] I have decided against subscribing to Kindle Unlimited. I browsed through their catalog of "1 million" titles a bit and found nothing much of interest to me. And I'd have to read at least a book a month from their selection to make it worth it. Knowing my reading habits (I'm usually in the middle of 4 or more books at a time
