• Re: Dis-Connect e-books

The most helpful thing you can do to improve the "Classics" is filter out books we already own!

  • Re: Logos 8 v 7 - Whats missing?

Phil, I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but the Logos 7 feature I find myself missing the most is that the version 8 Passage Guide does not generate a hyperlink to the passage you are studying as the version 7 did. I did not realize how much I used this until it disappeared. Sure I can click the back arrow in my bible, but sometimes my study
I just started using the mobile app for sermon study while away form home and it’s a mess. I don’t think I had these problems on my previous iPad, but it still ran iOS 12.1 like the new Pro does. Not sure what changed. My notes show no indicators in the Bible. They are there because I can open them manual

My computer just downloaded some new Manuals and a Logos 8 Quick Start by Morris Proctor, so if you want a preview you don't have to wait!
Looking forward to it, but.. am likely going to bemoan more "new" stuff that only works online.. Some of us don't want or have an always on connection
I am also sure it will not run on the 286 computer, with 20 MB hard drive, 3.5 floppy and 28 Kbs modem that I ran the first version of Logos on!
If you were happy with Logos Now, this is the same, with no change in price. As a Logos Now subscriber, you are grandfathered into this package and price point. You do not need to take any action. We will cancel the coupon codes and set your subscription to the newly-named package automatically. It is like we are 'undoing

  • Re: Slowly Coming Around

I am kind of glad all this has happened. I has made me realize I don’t need any more new books. At this point the one thing I have valued the most is the timely upgrades. I don’t want to go back to waiting every two years. So for me the solution is simple—drastically cut back on Logos purchases. The difference in price in Logos Now
For what it's worth, this is an example of how it didn't work as well as we'd hoped. Most people purchased upgrades that mixed content and features; we thought that the Logos Now program would just spread out the 'feature' purchase over time, and that when new releases happened those users would still want to upgrade their
I now wonder if the 5 figures of resources I have license to are worth it. It feels like a punishment for those of us who have bought in heavily (20k +/-)
For me the answer is no. As I was trying to figure out if the extra $11 per month was worth it, I kept on seeing these two words "Already owned." It was bad enough

Another thing I can't understand is how in the world could Logos have thought Faithlife Connect would be an attractive product to existing Logos Now customers? Almost all of us own a Base Package so the Logos Cloud is worthless to us. What they should have done is announce that Logos Now would increase in price by X amount of dollars and be a Features

  • Faithlife Connect punishes Logos' best customers!

I am puzzled by how Faithlife Connect punishes it's best customers. I assume that a large part of Logos' justification for the price increase is the addition of Logos Cloud. As a long time user, I have built up a large library. As far as I can tell I reap zero benefit from the addition of Logos Cloud. Is there any way to add dynamic discounting? If
