What model are most of you ordering? Which would likely be best for using Logos (in terms of memory, wireless vs 3G, etc)?
Hi there, I ordered the 3G models. I believe it's better for me because I don't have to be worrying about WIFI. I do some travel and still in some airports and hotels you can't find free internet access

  • Re: If you ignore Android, you ignore the future.

Android is a fragmented platform in which the software that works for Android 1.6 won't work for Android 1.5. " A slew of problems have made managing Android apps a “nightmare,” they say, including three versions of the OS (Android 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0), custom firmware on many phones, and hardware differences between different models. For users, it means

  • Re: Bible Study Magazine???

Hi Daniel, Hopefully I didn't offend you with my comment if I did i'm sorry because that was not my intention. What I meant is that there are other teachers, like Jack Hayford from the Charismatic movement and others but they are not included. Nothing against Baptists or Evangelical teachers either that appear in the magazine which have blessed me immensely

I found the magazine very interesting even though it wasn't what I expected. I thought as many have thought that it dealt with how to use the software. Not really, but there are interesting articles. My only complaint is that there are only certain teachers. Even though I respect Piper, McArthur and so on I do believe they do not represent the only

Thank you for explaining that to me, I really appreciate it. I tried several times with the same results and I was getting a little desperate already.

Logos 4 Mac A-8 crashes doing searches or as soon as it starts. It tries to open all the books that were opened from the previous session and then it crashes. This is my first time submitting a bug report I hope I did it right... Thanks in advance, J Caban-Aviles [View: http://community.logos.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components

  • Re: MacBook Air???

Ok, for those of you who are interested, here we go. My MBA (MacBook Air) finished indexing last night after almost 25 hours of work. At the beginning it seemed it was going to take more than 40 hours but that number started receding, as time passed, down to to 24:39... Keep in mind I had upgraded to Portfolio LE and I have a First Generation MBA so

Got it. Thanks Cameron and Joe. I believe that's been my problem, unfinished indexing times.

  • Re: Indexing taking a long time...

Hi Cameron, Thanks for your response. In the about dialog this is the number I have 4.0.3.3537. The indexer says Logos Bible Software is indexing your Library (20:02 remaining). I'm not sure where to go to get the indexer log, but I'll try to find it. I upgraded to Portfolio LE so I know it should take longer than usual but still it seems like every

My apologies, I forgot to say that I have upgraded to Portfolio LE so my experience might not be the usual experience of other users with less resources to be indexed...
