• Re: Logos only lets your transfer book Licenses once???
Do we really own e-books? According to this article in gigaom, we just rent them:
That is not quite legally accurate. That article may be using common terms to explain this to its readers, but if you want to be accurate, our Logos books are not rented, they are licensed. As long as you are not in breach of the license

Would you plan to write an academic paper putting some of your notes on napkins or the back of envelops, some of them in notebooks and most of them on index cards
Erik - are you using a tablet that has a card sticking out of it?
Sorry, I'm just now seeing this. No, I am using an internal card in the microSD slot on the Venue 8 Pro. Nothing sticks out of the device.
I've been mostly awk this week, so this thread was quite a doozy to come back to. Here's my big question after reading all of this: Do we actually own a license when we buy it? If so, should we not be permitted to resell it (especially when it comes with the $20 transfer fee)? If we cannot sell it, do we own it? I still
Logos feels like a massive company. They have so many great resources and many projects. But in the grand scheme Logos is a small company. They do great things but as I understand it are short staffed already on programers, and are very judicious with their time in devoting to new projects. The sad fact of the matter is Windows

If it has been activated ask Logos if it is transferable. I purchased a Nelson eBible John MacArthur Lifeworks off eBay and was unable to register it because it had already been activated. The deal I got was $2.99 the others are in the $15.95 to $27.95 range, that's not a good deal for me. Unless they made a mistake on the price and have now corrected it, I don't see any good deals on

I was in church this morning and we were reading through Hebrews 11. Low and behold, Milford had inserted a community note alongside Hebrews 11:3. It was fitting that such a kind man of faith would leave a note on this passage...I smiled the rest of the service knowing that he is with our Lord. I am not a "regular" here, but even with my sporadic participation

It's not an error. Faithlife has indicated that Biblical Languages in L6 will not have Dynamic Pricing. See the below thread on this: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/92976.aspx Personally I believe it was the wrong decision by Faithlife.

I can't give you much feedback on the specific counseling resources since I just purchased it last Wednesday, but I bought it primarily due to the Pastorum Collection, Baker Encyclopedia of Psychology and Counseling, Baker Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics, and the additional Opening Up volumes (37 vols.). I have about 25 listed including all of my print NICNT, Pillar and Socio-Rhetorical commentaries (which I already have in Logos).
