Shall I assume that the Biblical Languages Base Package is still for first time customers under the Academic Discount Program? I'd like to be able to see what's included in the L7 version, but the page is down at present: https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=biblical+languages https://www.logos.com/product/126577/biblical-languages

  • Re: Logos 7: What have you bought, and why...?
My thinking, too. I am not likely to buy anything very large, and maybe nothing at all.
The upside for me is that my wife is happy that I won't be spending as much this release.
I'm wavering on whether to purchase the Full Feature Sets or join Logos Now. I'm leaning toward the former. [/quote
Hmmm now I'm torn on what package I should get. Any suggestions? I just got L6 Diamond back in late May
Keith, it's difficult to recommend a package to someone since everyone's needs are different. We have pastors, seminary students, lay leaders, small group leaders, and "just" dedicated Christians who approach Logos

The discounts are in place I believe until Sept. 30 at least (Mods or MVPs correct me if I'm wrong), so you have some time to make a reasoned decision. Are you in seminary or planning on attending?

  • Re: Payment Plans and you

I'm curious if the payment plan changes from nine months ago are impacting people's purchase decisions now that L7 has been released. It has definitely impacted my spending habits over the past nine months. Since the announcement I've spent a little more than $800 compared to approximately $2,700 for the nine months prior to the announcement. Nothing

  • Re: Is software ownership to be a thing of the past in a few years?
I'm holding on to ownership BECAUSE of that perception. Maybe Logos 7 is the last version that we can buy and own. I wouldn't want to miss that opportunity. Maybe Logos 8 ownership option are gonna be massively unattractive. Consider Microsoft Office... Version 2010: you could buy and own the Pro Plus version with student discount

  • Re: Payment Plans and you
You can get one of these payment plans online. You'll pay an equal amount upfront and then for the duration of your plan. I didn't have an existing plan, so I'm not sure how that will work. However, by emailing sales I was able to merge three separate purchases into one plan, without penalty.
Thanks Mark. I'm more

  • Re: Payment Plans and you
People buying L7 and spending more than $100 are able to get a payment plan without having to put down 25%.
The percentage down isn't really a concern for me. How Logos is linking multiple payment plans is more of an issue for me; are they stacking by front loading the new plan over the initial months or is it averaged

  • Re: Can I make a suggestion for the future "packages?"
I'm finding I'm not as gung ho about Base Packages anymore. I've been buying a lot of stand-alone sets over the past year. But some of the lower-tiered packages are attractive, because I can get several books for $20 or $30. In Logos 6, I had worked my way up to Reformed Portfolio, Regular Portfolio, Pentecostal Silver

  • Re: Buying Multiple L7 Base Packages?

Buying multiple base packages at the same time does not give you credit for duplicate resources. I made the mistake with L6 of buying several packages at once; I won't do that again.

My monthly payment is evenly distributed throughout the whole duration on the plan for the next 11 months.
Was your existing plan sitting at 11 months before the new plan was combined?
I had 10 months left on my older plan.
Interesting. It looks like an exception
Erik, if you have the NIDNTTE early version on Logos, would you mind picking a word/article to compare the two? A few of us would be interested. Thanks!
Maybe its just an issue with the item I am attempting to purchase, WEA Theological Resource Library, Version 3 . I was able to make a purchase of a free item, and did so in order to determine the extent of the issue. All went smoothly with that purchase as normal. • Issue: Lexham Bible Guide: Romans

I noticed just now that links to the Ancient Christian Commentary Romans volume that are cited in the Lexham Bible Guide: Romans are broken. Although I own the ACCS Complete Set, the guide tells me that I don't own the ACCSNT06 resource. I presume this is happening because the ACCS Romans volume is in its 2nd. edition and that the guide is tagged to
