  • Re: User created lectionary on homescreen/dashboard

I just finished a first version of the lectionary. I managed to speed up the process by including extra columns in my spreadsheet before converting to plain text. The biggest question for me is if there are currently any discrepancies because of differences in common English and Dutch numbering of Bible verses. Is there anybody who can help me with

[quote user="NB.Mick"] Gerard, obviously your lectionary (covering church year 2018-19) ran out of days some five weeks ago with the beginning of advent - maybe you or some other Dutch friends will want to update it to the 2019-20 church year. I might lend a hand, if necessary. I'm contemplating building the (relatively new) German protestant lectionary

The lectionary is based on the Revised Common Lectionary and has a three year cycle. The national council of churches is the author of the lectionary. That topic was completely in Dutch, but you apparently made the connection. This seems to solve the 'issue' indeed. In Logos 7 it just showed the first entry in the sidebar, in my case that was December 2nd. Since it worked

It definitely shows as a lectionary in my library and I already tried recompiling. I noticed another thread about the homepage and found that there are currently several other issues to be resolved. So maybe this is another one for that list :-)

  • User created lectionary on homescreen/dashboard

In Logos 7 it was possible to select a user-created lectionary to be displayed on the home screen. In Logos 8 it seems this is no longer possible. Is this intentional or is it still supposed to be possible? Kind regards, Gerard Wolfert

  • Personal Book: Oecumenisch Leesrooster 2018-2019
