I have more 30 tags, but only 30 display and I only have the option of clicking "more" once - and then only the top 30 tags show up. So a separate Tag list that reveals all my tags would be helpful.

If you have a long list of tags, not all of them appear in that list.

  • Creation date for notes

Surely this has been asked about before, but I can't find it via search. Is there any way to view the creation date of Notes (rather than just how long ago they were created, e.g., 3 months, 1 year, etc)? And a separate date for when Notes were last modified? Why is this so elusive? Thanks!

  • Re: Father as a figurative language term

Thanks. Phil's suggestion is helpful if I were doing a comprehensive study of this topic. My inquiry is mostly related to the lack of reliability of these search tools. Of course I'm always checking what the computer gives me against what I know to be true about the Bible, but it sure is helpful if I can create a list from a search of, for example,

Thanks, those comments are helpful. Are there plans from Faithlife to then update the sense God <=> Father to include the NT?

  • Father as a figurative language term

Figurative language term search seems to be a great feature and thanks for all the hard work Logos folks put into it. There may be some gaps, though, and I wonder if I can label passages manually with it. For example, when I right-click "Father" in Luke 11:2, one of the context menu options is to search for the figurative language term "father" as well

Texts I've labeled outside of Notes show up there, but not Notes. Here's the Note (actually a Highlight, but within the Notes view) labeled with a couple things: Here's a search for the associated Label - notice under "Your Documents" (where Notes should be if the search picks up anything there) is empty. However, if I do a more general search, it finds

Oh wow, thanks. I hadn't seen this! A preliminary test, though, reveals that even when I label a note, it's not showing up under "Your Documents" in an "Everything" search for that label. Unless it takes a while for things to process after I've labeled a note? Thanks for pointing this out!

  • Re: Note tags vs Labels in Logos 8

I see what you're saying. The dilemma I have is that I have two major ways of managing information in Logos: One way is via taking notes. I might take notes on sermons, for my Bible study, to teach a Sunday school class, etc. I want to tag these notes so that they're searchable later. What sermons have our pastors preached on, say, fasting? Or within

  • Note tags vs Labels in Logos 8

I recently discovered that note tags are now searchable using the general search function as labels are. I had annotated my Bible with a system of labels so that I could find passages pertaining to a particular self-categorized topic. I also tag notes so that I can find them based on topic too. However, now that everything is truly searchable using

  • Bug: Can't rename favorites

Hi folks, I've heard about this issue occurring in Logos 6 intermittently for Mac, and it seems to be an issue for me lately in Logos 7. When I try to rename any of my favorites, the line goes blank and I can't rename it. If I open it, the title returns to its original state unchanged. Thoughts? Thanks!

  • Re: Labels not working?

Although the text I selected happens to be a popular highlight, I did mark it with my label; "discipline" is listed before that text in the book. However, I went back and deleted the label, re-labeled it, and now it works! I'm not sure what changed, but thanks for the help guys :)

Lo and behold, as soon as I ask for help, it starts to work - partially! The search uncovers the label in my Bible, but not in another resource.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried variations of cases, including what you suggested, and still not working.

  • Labels not working?

Hi folks, I've followed instructions as outlined in the wiki and elsewhere on the forums on how to make a label. I've applied the label to biblical and non-biblical text. However, when I try to search for the label {label discipline} or any other extension, nothing comes up on the search. The label is made and clearly apparent in the text. I am searching
