Brill doesn't put their books on sale and they are not in base packages. I don't think it is likely you will be able to better this discount.

The Timeline tool works well for the list of prophets. Just type the word “prophet” without the quotes into the filter box. The Timeline tool doesn’t work so well for kings. But if you can get this resource, it shows all of the kings for Israel and Judah from several sources. https://www.logos.com/product/25368/israels-kings-timeline

please fix these changes also Paul is saying here, “You Christians are no longer …”—well, wait a minute; he’s not saying here, “You Christians are no longer not under a law code.” That’s not what he’s saying. He’s saying, “You’re no longer under the law of Moses.” a little

  • Re: How to find if its true

i just did a search for the phrase in all of my grammars. the most useful result was: Standing absolutely at the beginning of a sentence, περὶ (δέ) means “[now] concerning /with regard to” (for parallels in the papyri, see MM 504a; Mayser 448–49), and marks a new subject (e.g., 1 Co 7:1, 25; 8:1; 12:1; 16:1), a

If you review the verses called out by Fruchtenbaum, they meet M J Harris’ criteria. Standing absolutely at the beginning of a sentence , περὶ (δέ) means “[now] concerning /with regard to” and marks a new subject (e.g., 1 Co 7:1 , 25 ; 8:1 ; 12:1 ; 16:1 )

  • Re: Augustine New 21st Century Transalation on PrePub !!!!!!

Having purchased the Fathers of the Church volumes not too long ago and looking at the translation differences that Kevin Clemens provided, I am not seeing a real incentive to purchase the NCP volumes. Are there any new volumes in the NCP set that I don't have already? Any of the smaller sets that you would recommend and why? Thanks

  • Poor formatting in FL ebooks

Anyone else seeing formatting issues in FL ebooks? Some things I see are seemingly random number sequences, large sections of text that are hyperlinked (instead of just verse and footnote references), missing chapter designators in verse references, footnote references that send you to the start of a chapter, etc. I have had to return multiple books

Here is a list of books purchased on FL ebooks that I have had to return within the past few weeks due to numerous formatting issues. These are not cheap books, either, so I don't think it is a price issue. • Re: Poor formatting in FL ebooks

Well, if FL wants to continue putting out clearly inferior products, that is their prerogative. I am sure the process works great for romance novels, but it is clearly not up to the task for many books. I know I am not getting full tagging, but I do expect bible verse and footnote references to work, and the text should not contain large amounts of
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see any major improvement to FL ebooks under the current model, see that their profit margin is super minimal. Occasionally, when there's a resource that's especially bad, some manual cleanup gets done, but that's the exception and not the rule.
Yes, I am not expecting to see

Just having instant access to the 1350 bible verses identified in the scriputure index as you are reading the book makes getting the Logos version a no-brainer.
Not being difficult, Robert, but only it you think Mr Heiser got it right. Else, you're out $27.50 (which would be my situation).
