  • Re: Logos and Kindle

I had called and actually got to talk to a fellow about this and they said that they were waiting to see what format ends up being the standard and what will people ultimantly end up using iPhone, Kindle, Sony reader etc... This conversation happened about 3 months ago. So I believe they are looking, but as always they are waiting. Hope this helps.

  • Re: Logos 4 Cannot Find Resources

Not a problem, I have done all that you have said and now I am on step 4. While I am waiting I have one more question. Will Logos 4 know about all the other resources I have purchased? Books that are not a part of the gold version?

I could not find anywhere else to post this error, sorry if this is the incorrect spot. This is not a post for discussion, just trying to alert Logos to

  • Re: New Testament Commentary Similar to Keil & Delitzsch?

I also use the Baker’s New Testament Commentary as well and I like it very much. Of course with anything I have to make sure I read between their preconceived ideas or which I disagree with. You were asking for something like Keil & Delitzsch, only a bit easier to read and with some Hebrew study. The Baker Commentary is nice, but only New Testament

  • Galaxy Tab, Sprint 7 inch

Able to open app, but unable to view any books, either downloaded or streamed. The program would show the busy circle spinning thing and then just go back to my library. I am on Wi-Fi when I try to open books. I tried all my downloaded books and some I have not tried before. Prior to beta 10 I had 0 problems, but something apparently changed. I understand

  • Topic Guide Crash

Just finished with downloading the newest updates and allowed the indexer to complete as of 7/4/2013. Opened up Topic Guide and searched "Mount Sinai", the search started to populate the guide but then crashed. I reopened Logos and closed all other windows and tried again with the same result. Next, I tried a different search string, still crashes.

  • Re: Topic Guide Crash

Michael, Forgive me if I am wrong, but it sounds as if your problem is different than mine. Brad was telling me how to fix the topic guide from crashing my Logos. It sounds like your Logos is crashing before you can do anything correct? If so, try uploading your Log Error and Log Crash files for Brad to examine. Good luck.

There is an App for the RT Tablet. Its under the name Bible! (with the '!') Also, it is just to see and read your books only... for now, please reference this thread for more information. The Logos team said that they are currently working on more features of the RT app to bring it up to speed. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/56510.aspx

  • Re: A Case for an Improved Windows Store App

Gary > Correct, the Logos App you downloaded from the windows App store cannot access your book files from your Logos 5 on your desktop. This is not Logos fault, Microsoft does not allow apps from the app store to access files that are installed the old fashioned way. They have their reasons, but maybe this will change in the future. Until then we'll

  • To ANY Logos Programmer willing to help :)

I have been trying to install L4 or L5 on Ubuntu Linux 14. I am able to install .Net 4.5, DX, and the core fonts from MS, but when I run the L4 or the L5 installer it crashes. The crash is a result of the .msi prerequisite file download. I am confident that L5 or L4 can be installed via wine if we could have an installer that bypassed this .msi file
