• Re: No NEW Journals - why not?

I don't believe there is a separate set of 'journal' sales promotion emails. Just sales emails that never seem to promote the journal offerings in Logos. Perhaps there would be better take up if these were sent out and people then got the hear the good news. Shalom
... I am truly disappointed! ...
Maybe few have noticed - bear in mind the sales task is a rather passive one for this type of product. Aside from the emails sent direct to those who have signed up for them. If people are disenchanted and don't spend much time here - they don't know! Shalom

My guess is that Logos are actively working on them - but the pre-pub mechanism is the means by which FaithLife 'drum up business'. So there is likely no need for the full cost of pre-pub to be met. What I am thinking they are not setting the cost of true cost - but one to hold the 'advert' in place until they are nearly ready Just call me somewhat

Hi The Cohick, Lynn H. author designation is official - but very old news. We have heard little or nothing from Eerdmans (which is nothing unusual for a commentary publisher) since the initial assignment. However her own CV (of indeterminate date) says the following:- Under Contract ... Ephesians in the New International Commentary of the New Testament

Thank you all I have never studied this issue in any great depth. but I will take on board all these suggestions - even though some don't quite fit my original request brief - but that's okay. Of course scriptural study is the best - but as you expanded this idea 'Into Grace' you moved into study of other things such as biblical culture, back ground

  • Eternal Security - Once Saved Always Saved issue - logos title recommendations please

Hi I need to study this issue from all angles. Can anyone give a recommendation for a Logos title that reviews the positions and arguments from a comprehensive perspective. What don't want is the plethora of polemic titles that appear to talk passed each other from entrenched positions. thanks in advance. I would love something in the style of J. Dwight

Witty yes - Perfect not so much Current theological reflection is based on our reading of scripture itself and the reading of as much theological writing as we can manage. These can go back all the was to the early church fathers and even into the Jewish rabbinic sources. Two points. 1. Are the early church father writing scripture as they as often
Thanks all for your questions about the EEC. We're working on a comprehensive update for the series, we should be able to share it soon. The EEC website was recently retired and now EvangelicalExegeticalCommentary.com redirects to a landing page on LexhamPress.com. This landing page will be much easier to maintain. [/quote
