Joseph, I experienced the same issue initially, however after I allowed the program to finish updating and indexing, the other features appeared shortly thereafter.

CORRECTION - I just found the issue: It seems that my layouts from Logos 4, prior to my crossgrade to Logos 5 have been imported into the newer version - however for some reason, changing default text size within those layouts produces no result except as previously stated. I did discover that if I perform a new search from the default layout, I am

Hi Dave - I have tried using the Logos 4 Default font thinking that would solve the issue, but it only changes the passage guide column and information column. the windows with my commentaries and bibles remain unchanged despite any size I set "default text" to. Steve - I did not need to change the default text size in each window while using Logos

Well stated, Terry.

Thanks! I think it's helpful but I don't see the need too have it always present.
-
Where did you find that setting, David?
-
Thanks Dave and Allen, Dave - I have changed the default text size in Program Settings, and prior to opening any resources. I am operating in Windows 7. Allen - I like the idea of changing program scaling, but the text sizes remain unaffected as a whole and are all different sizes. As I look at the screen again this morning, all the program tabs (Passage

Hello Friends, I tried to search for a thread addressing this issue, but did not locate any specific. If a thread exists, I apologize for repetition: I have crossgraded to Logos5 and my settings to make text size default to 90% is set, and in the first column (i.e. sermon starter guide) on the left is affected by changing default text size. However

I am having the same issues with Logos on my Fire as well. I have tried uninstalling, and reinstalling Logos, but without any success in getting the menu to work properly. I have experienced the exact same thing that Ronald describes above. It would be nice to have it work from the most "logical" point. I hate to sound like I am nagging about these

When it comes to working this out in my own mind, I look at the individual resource I am looking at purchasing. I have found that I do not like reading straight through electronically (although I am making some strides there!), but that for other resources like lexicons, dictionaries, and commentaries, and even more robust reference works, the electronic

Thanks for the responses, everyone. The option was not showing at first (maybe I had multiple books selected), but now it is showing just fine. I apologize for posting and then not responding for some time, things became a bit busy at home and church over the past few weeks. Blessings! Aaron

I have been trying to prioritize all the volumes in the Bible Commentary in the Wesleyan Tradition, however the option to 'prioritize series' that shows up for other series in my collection does not show for this one. Is anyone else having this issue? If not, has it been reported as something that needs to be corrected? Thanks!

I know this is an older thread, but wanted to revive it a bit to express continued interest in the Dictionary of the Old Testament: Wisdom, Poety & Writings. This is an excellent dictionary that would be extremely beneficial in the Logos library. Thank You!

I use my iPad to read my Logos books and to do some basic study. I like the Logos iPad app, but do hope they add more functionality. Regarding preaching from the iPad, I have preached from it several times and it has not been a distraction. The case I have for my iPad is a Targus portfolio case and is a bit thicker than the official Apple case (and

In my attempts to recreate your situation, I found something else to happen with my copy of the software. For some reason, when editing the option for number of verses, Logos shuts down prematurely. It sounds like this is unrelated to your situation, but thought I would post it in case others have a similar issue. I have the most recent release candidate

Mark, That is certainly exciting news! While perusing the IVP website, I also found this http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=2480 which gives a release date of October 2010. Not sure if this is the same thing or not, no price though.

Hi Jim, Here are a few resources that may help in your research: http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/GENRECORD http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/CRTNASSCI http://www.logos.com/products/details/4054 http://www.logos.com/products/details/284 These are mainly young-earth resources, but I think there is a good discussion in each of these works regarding

I have been thinking about this one for some time, and have just placed my order.
