  • Logos4Indexer crash

I run Logos 4 on Windows XP. I began receiving logos4indexer error messages about a week ago, and they may relate to an abnormal shutdown while indexing was happening. Updates can't come through. Could you help me get back on track? I have attached my logfiles. Thank you - Calgary Logos user. 3482.Logos4IndexerCrash.zip

  • Re: Logos Android not syncing highlights

Thank you Kevin! We really appreciate that. Gaby, if you are online anyhow, use the Vyrso app. You can highlight there for now, and it all syncs. Lucas

Thanks Kevin. I also have sync problems like the Gaby's. I tried emptying the cache on my Android (4.0.4 on a Samsung 10.1 Tablet). I changed my password so that the tablet would have to re-sync to access the account. The tablet accesses and keeps up on all counts except in the bible markup. It is like I have two separate Bibles with two separate markups

Thanks for asking Gaby. I have experienced the same problem and I would like to hear an answer too. Perhaps there are others!

  • Re: Is there a way to import "Bible Illustrator" data?

OK. Thanks for your help. I'll give my energy to the Personal Books for now. The research assistant is getting some pressure to use another Bible program, but I think he would lose a lot of functionality. Happy Easter!

Thanks Mick! I opened up L3, and I can't find that sermon add-in. Is it still available from the website? Or is it in there somewhere and hidden from me? If I use it to import, can I move it over to L4 once that is installed?

I really appreciate your quick response. Thank you! I have tried Personal Books - and I like it. We have over 3,000 entries (I'm guessing - it could be double that), and I'm trying to figure out how to get all that in while maintain discrete tagging and searching. Many of the documents have tags that are not based on document content, but on categories

  • Is there a way to import "Bible Illustrator" data?

We have years of sermon illustrations and background information in a "Bible Illustrator" database, entered by a dedicated research assistant. Can this be imported into Logos 4? If not, is there a companion program that works in conjunction with Logos? Thank you for any insights.

  • Re: Re-Installation aborts

There is no D: any more, and there is plenty of free space on C:. The problem is that the original installation went to D: and this drive no longer exists. One alternative is to change the registry, but I don't trust myself to do that. Tech support suggests that I reload under a different account, so this may be my best alternative. Thanks for replying

  • Re-Installation aborts

My laptop had a smaller C: and a D: partition. I installed Logos 4 onto the D: because there was no room on C:. In an attempt to reallocate some space previously occupied by Linux, I accidentally removed the D: partition. The problem - when I attempt to reinstall Logos 4, it can't find the Install path, and then it aborts. THE QUESTION: How can I re
