  • Re: Logos 8

Here's another question related to logos 8. Is there a pattern with how often the base libraries get reworked? I seems to me that there have been times when Logos has gotten a major update to the software without the particular resources in the libraries changing much at all. Am I wrong? if this is the case should we expect a reworking of the libraries

  • Re: Can you "print" or "export" Visual Filters?

I know this is an old thread and it is relative to logos 4. But I'm trying to export a passage with visual filters to word and it doesn't carry any of them over. Is there anyway to know which types of highlight will export? I was using box, double box ,and colored underlining which don't seem overly complicated. thanks!

Hi Keep Smiling, I really appreciate your glossary PB. I have installed it into my library but how do I assign it to LDGNT so that it is what pops up instead of the original glossary? thanks! David

  • How do you use Grammars effectively?

I would be interested to know how other logos users utilize their Greek and Hebrew Grammars. I include them in my customized exegetical guide but rarely do the hits in the guide prove helpful. I am curious if there are more effective ways of utilizing them? any thoughts?

  • Theological Journal Library Vols. 11-15?

I have Vols. 1-10 and was waiting for vol 15 to come out in hopes that 11-15 would be packaged together. But so far it doesn't look like that has been made available yet. However it appears that every other possibility is available. 1-5, 6-10, 1-10, 1-15 are all available for purchase but not 11-15. Anyone know if there is a reason for this or if 11

  • Re: Scrolling over links

Ok sorry I didn't respond earlier. here are a couple of screen shots: it is prohibitive in the sense that scrolling over links for a quick pop-up of the relevant info is impossible. In order to see the information I have to open the resource and scroll up. It is not the worst thing in the world, it's just that it makes the pop-up function basically

the specific example was just supposed to illustrate the problem. when you scroll over a resource (not just in a guide) quite often the useful information is not included. so perhaps a particularly helpful resource has an incredibly insightful point to make from my text: "fascinating theological point, background information that is incredibly helpful

  • Scrolling over links

so, when I scroll over a link to a resource. e.g. a grammar in my exegetical guide, the window that pops up always begins with the reference that I'm interested in. The problem is that most of the time I need to see what is prior to the reference in the grammar for the pop up to actually be helpful. the result is that I just have to open each resource

  • Biblical Languages Package

If anyone with the academic discount through logos hasn't upgraded to L5, let me recommend that you call logos and ask about the biblical languages package. it is stacked, and as far as I can tell includes all of the new data sets as well. it has about the same total number of books as the starter package which made my upgrade price from L4 Gold a pretty

  • Re: This may be a strange question...

Well I called and was told that "they no longer sell them." Oh well, I did ask about the new repackaged version of the original language package and was told that there is indeed such a thing available through the academic program. still waiting on a call back with more info on that.
