• Re: Highlights Missing In Mobile App (iOS)?
This is one of the reasons why I suggest users to be judicious in the number of downloaded resources. For the mobile app, the best fix is frequently a clean install.
Not disagreeing, but we just VPN'd our world, and tried out the offload function in ios. I downloaded a strange book from my library (not an included

  • Re: uload notes from Olive Tree

Welcome! While waiting for a more expert answer, when Bibleworks died, Logos fashioned a loader for BW'ers. BW used a comma delimited format I think. Anyway, it may be easy enough to re-format Olivetree in Excel, then export into a BW format for the Logos loader. Just thinking.
Pre-Pub is $100 cheaper or do I not understand how this works?
Normally, Bruce's idea is best. But you're right ... 3.1 is more than 4.1. The wait might be worth it, or call Logos to see if you can download already produced 4.1.

Smiling. I'd like to think it was because manuals invite dense interfaces, hard to keep updated, and used as a last resort. Corporately, I think it's sad ... my

I'll shut up. But out of curiousity, I tried to do what you're describing. First, I thought maybe the cheapest route might be a package. I tried academic starter, to get your mix of features. Nope. But then Safari (ios) doesn't do their popup menus, so I couldn't shift up a level (looking for discouse). I decided to google the logos site. That allowed
Of particular interest to many is Ignatius of Antioch, who left us some letters that he wrote when he was being transported from Antioch to Rome for his expected martyrdom. The textual history of these letters is arguably complex - with some abbreviating them, and others expending on them to update them with later concerns

  • Re: Second Temple Judaism Resources?

Your question illustrates the problem. Listing a series of writings may or may not be 'judaism' (vs great caves and Egyptian farmers, loved by the Christians, or survived by being thrown away). Francis lists the key literature sources; I'd add Charles in addition to OTP and Herm. My favorites in Logos for discussions of actual judaism(s): Between Athens

    1. Do you actually use DCH? 2. Do you want some good indices (periodically helpful, even from century-old volumes) 3. If both yes, but decide no, can you afford $50 later?

  • Re: Find the Greek text a version is based on

Adding to Mark, the easy way is use a linked text comparison to highlight where the translations diverge. Then a basic apparatus that shows the key differences in greek (eg the SBL greek apparatus). As above, a more technical apparatus generally sequences the greek difference in traditional order, not used order. Of course, Metzger's comments are good

Agree with Mark and SineNomine. But in theory, FL must have thought the blogs and sub-forums were meant to have value. Sort of like building ghost-towns. And FL is good at no follow-thru. I've argued through the years, denominational emphasis would help Logos, far more than Accordance or the older BW, which aim at a generic text. I don't think, outside

  • Re: Where can i find a full genealogy tree from Adam to Christ on Logos ?

The usual route to associate Mary with David, is through Num 36:5+ with Mary carrying the family fortune, marrying within her tribe. However, that gets you to Judah. The primary reference Col 1:14 moves you closer, and apparently so believed as per Justin Martyr in Trypho.
