My 2 cents, it's now or never, with a 30 day return choice.
Well, surprise, surprise. It downloaded to my mini. And I already learned something (aka found a rabbit trail). I'd never even heard of aischrology. Apparently the greeks had it down to an art. Nothing in my library. Well, that's not good. On several fronts. Thank you, Bobby.

Hopefully you'll get further than David. If Vincent doesn't appear, you might try a separate thread starting with 'Vincent:' and referencing this, I doubt you have much luck, if Logosian history repeats; I assume you also have Gottengen's Tobit, whose apparatus does a little better on Syr-Tobit. And Herneneia's Tobit soon to arrive.

Well, hope is always the best in humanity. James (NT) said it best. But Logos tends to go for 'pretty'. In this case, let the example images speak, and reduce the text to squint-size. Eliminate the text if at all possible. It makes for high training costs (corporate) and reluctant customers (apps). But we can hope!

Hi Celeste I really don't care; I just thought it odd. Here's an easy one on DuckDuck. I paged until I gave up. Amazon showed, etc. Even Bart Ehrman's blog had something. Regarding searches, on a mini, the search window is tiny, so you have to type in the dark and no edits. Ergo DuckDuck.

Last night I compared my 'old' Logos (a few months ago) to Bev's. Looked the same. Then I went back to late last year. Looks like for whatever reason, they made it harder to read (font size),

  • Did Logos Get Dumped from the Search Engines?

Tonight I made several DuckDuck and Google searches. Zippo Logos.com, even though Logos had the resources. Ironically, even Bibleworks had results (along with Accordance, ChristianDiscount, and hundreds more). 'Historically' Logos.com has been a major 1st page player. Not important; I just use the search engines due to the new Logos.com search is so

  • If You Enjoy the Archaeology Side of Qumran and the Scrolls

https://www.logos.com/product/176196/scribes-and-scrolls-at-qumran It's a pre-order (in development). The author makes an interesting argument relative to the nature of each cave. I always thought the thru-the-roof cave was a bit of a stretch. Of course, another chapter in the Qumran saga. https://www.amazon.com/Scribes-Scrolls-Qumran-Sidnie-Crawford
I wish I can hear from FL what their stance is on getting Bart Ehrman’s books here in FL stores.
He's too popular and well respected. We already agreed Wright was popular and well respected (signs of a true heretic). There's clearly a fine line here. It's like Pharisee signs vs Jesus signs.

To further cause everyone pain (dinero), here's a slice discussing the pattern of greek to other languages (begins with baptize). https://linguistics.ucla.edu/people/Melchert/Melchert%20C._greek%20and%20lycian.pdf Using duckduck and the book title, there's several sample pdfs from the volumes. And grinding of teeth at Brill. My 2 cents, it's now or

Looking at the OP's (short) complaint, as previously noted, it's how Mr Wright is marketed. Imagine glorious terms promoting Mr Ehrman. The emergency rooms would be flooded. But I suspect (and don't know), Logos, com seems to be moving into autopilot. Whatever ships from the publishers (marketing copy). Yesterday's bizarre Crossan seems the new approach

On a mini (latest Safari), it's pretty hopeless. Can't see prices, can't type in search. Being catty, it's junior college time. Then there's new collections where you have to squint at the picture to see what's included ( https://www.logos.com/product/49776/select-works-of-john-dominic-crossan ). I don't even like Crossan. And so airy too. Oh my ..

'Best'? I think an evangelical seal of approval might work. Kind of like what the Catholics have. Smiling.
