• Re: Panel Tabs UI needs improvement

One of my most-used layouts has a window with a split screen of dictionaries on the left and commentaries on the right. The other screen is the Biblical text and notes. For the screen with the dictionaries and commentaries, I might have 20 or so commentaries open on the split screen, and it literally takes over a minute to scroll all the way to the
While it is technically possible to downgrade - it would involve completely deleting your current installation and downloading Logos 7 among other things - it isn't recommended by Faithlife. Are you aware you can switch back to using the Logos 7 notes system while running Logos 8 using the command "set prefer notes tool

  • How to Cancel Faithlife Connect and Downgrade to Logos 7

After testing the waters of Logos 8 for a bit using the trial of Faithlife Connect, I realize how much I need certain note features that are slated to be added soon. In the meantime, I need to downgrade to Logos 7 again. I do not see an option to actually cancel the Faithlife Connect subscription or to downgrade. How do I do this?

When does the LOGOS 8 launch celebration officially end? I’m looking for a hard and fast date if possible.
Thanks Jonathan. I'm UK Baptist in theology, but serving in an Anglican Church. Not sure how different that is to US Southern Baptist. Wayne Grudem and Sam Storms would probably be where I'm at theologically. I'll pick up the Garrett books mid month when my next credit card statement is due. I've picked up the Garlington
I've always valued your input before. Can you say why you've had Garrett systematic theology in your wishlist? I've never come across it before and have always been satisfied with Grudem as my go-to. $9.98 is a compelling price for an alternative. Will I find anything new or better? I've also added Garlington's Galatians

I am pretty blown away at this month's sale. Picked up books by D. A. Carson, Daniel Block, Don Garlington, William Lane Craig, and James Leo Garrett Jr. Each volume for $5! The 2-volume systematic theology by Garett is usually $100, and it's been on my wishlist for a while. Some real steals here. That's not to mention the FBOTM. I've been wanting to

  • Corresponding Words on Mac

For the Visual Filter for Bibles on a Mac, it looks like the Corresponding Words option has changed. This is what it used to look like: This is what it looks like now: I use the Corresponding Words to highlight words with the same root. Anyone know what happened here? Was it a LOGOS Now thing that got turned off when I opted out?

  • Re: Ways to turn logos books into an audio file...

Using Mac's built-in text-to-voice has a downside in that the rate caps out at around 350 words per minute. To redeem the time, it has been a major help to me to create a simple application using Applescript. This allows you to save an audio file with whatever reading rate you would like. This is a Mac-only thing. 1. Open up Script Editor 2. Create
16 GB RAM would be adequate
I agree. The processor and the SSD are the two biggies. The disappointing thing about new Mac laptops is that the memory is soldered, making it impossible to manually upgrade. You have to buy it from them up front or not at all. If I'm not mistaken, the drive is also soldered.
