great stuff included :-), although I'm quite surprised by one glaring omission IMO. Although there are two introductory texts on Philokalia, the actually Philokalia isn't included even at Platinum level (I realize it's been in production/waiting on translation of volume 5, but it wouldn't be the first set Logos shipped incomplete
Fantastic ... now I need the option to upgrade my Verbum to my Orthodox level.
Yes, the comparison chart and upgrade data is taking a leisurely route towards rolling out. Hopefully the cache will be up to date by morning.
-
Be sure to check out the video on our landing page: https://www.logos.com/orthodox The new packages should be added to the main comparison chart soon (caching delay).

Good news: This collection is now available on Pre-Pub . https://www.logos.com/product/55115/nelsons-annual-preachers-sourcebook
Gabe, what are the odds of having the apparatus created as a separate resource (similar to NA28), and thus allowing us to access it through the apparatus section of the Exegetical Guide?
It will be a separate resource, but we are looking at additional ways to link apparatuses with Bibles in the future.
-
Update: We will have a product page up soon for the UBS5 Critical Apparatus. For those that have ordered (or plan to order) one of the new GBS bundles (Stuttgart Scholarly Editions) where the UBS5 with Critical Apparatus is included, you will get it as part of those bundles once the apparatus is complete.
-
Also, we have some folks from Faithlife meeting with GBS (among many others) at the book fair in Frankfurt this week. Hopefully I can get everyone an update on the status of this apparatus (and if/when we can get it in our format) soon.
-
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In our communication with GBS, it appears we had some wires crossed related to getting these new products put together (and what they include/exclude). We don't currently have the UBS5 critical apparatus, though I'm working to get more information on that (and if we'll have it anytime soon). We will make
Just to confirm and be double clear. No more money from me, and I will recieve the Encyclopedia Britannica when it's completed, while still keeping the Compton's version?
Correct.
The Systematic Theology section has a Patristics group which appears to be replaced in part by the Ecumenical group in the Confessional Documents section. Where are the Patristic catechisms, mystagogies, creeds etc. appearing when they are not associated with an ecumenical council?
For this guide, at least as of right
[[For some of the Orthodox publishers contacts with Gabe may have been their first contact in the e-publishing world and change takes time]]
I've never known Orthodox people to be slow to change. (That's a joke.) Yes, I work on many, many things, but Orthodox products are very much alive. As M.J. noted, the best way
Gabe, I appreciate the response. I have to say, though, that it's not clear that those "resource details" pages provide any additional information that the individual product pages don't have; and the product pages also have the preview capability. If I were administering the site and those pages, I'm now at at least 3 pages
-
I was looking at this collection: https://www.logos.com/product/37738/theology-in-community-series On that page, there are no previews for any of the volumes in the collection. When I click on the links to the individual volumes at the bottom of that page, the pages at which I arrive do not have previews, either. For example
I hope it has cause *cough*newbasepackages*cough* to wake up soon!
It's a new month. A lot of good things can happen in a month like October.

I did a clean install on my personal machine and it's running like a charm.
I took a look at Logos.com/orthodox and noticed a link to the Logos Orthodox blog, which is rather lacking in recent updates--and the most recent post seems to be broken. Is this blog dead, or what's up?
It's in hibernation for the moment. Thanks for pointing out the dead post/link—we'll take a look!
-
Thank you for pointing this out. Being an older collection, I think it was simply missed for the recent Classic Commentaries promo. Also, being older, it was missing Dynamic Pricing. That has now been resolved.

This is not an official Faithlife response/stance, but I can tell you on my personal rMBP, running El Capitan GM Candidate, Logos 6 works fine. Your mileage may vary, of course. If you're worried at all about your critical workflow, it's best to wait for an official release of El Capitan (plus a response from our developers on L6's compatibility).

Good suggestion, thanks!
I do not have the first MJB. I am guessing some of the volumes in this new pre-order includes Journals already produced/delivered? In that case, do I get all the older journals at the time 2.1 is released or is there some other timeframe?
MJB 2.1 contains everything in the first MJB.
