• OCR being passed off as 'high quality' Logos edition

I'm very disappointed with the 'Select Works of Samuel Rutherford' which have just downloaded. There's no hint from the product description that it's anything different from standard Logos editions however it seems that they are largely just part of the batch of OCR works taken from the 'Library of Early English History' as: - Greek and Hebrew words

  • Welwyn upgrade including top Psalms commentary

You can now vote for a Welwyn upgrade on uservoice . I'm particularly interested in Philip Eveson's 2 volumes on the psalms. Palmer Robertson says: "Among the many commentaries old and new available on the Psalms, Eveson's work ranks right at the top. Highly recommended". But I've also included Currid on Ecclesiastes and Brooks on Hebrews. All published

  • Re: Loken EEC commentary - no reviews?
The EEC does seem to be "invisible" to most outside those familiar with Logos, so doesn't really feature much in terms of reviews.
I'm sure that's part of it, though the Ephesians volume has glowing endorsements from Carson, Schreiner and Horton!

  • Loken EEC commentary - no reviews?

One of the free books with Faithlife Connect this month is Israel Loken's commentary on Ezra/Nehemiah . However it doesn't list any endorsements on the product page, and I can't find any reviews online, even though it has apparently been out since 2011. Seems a bit strange does it not? If there are reviews out there, I'd be glad for someone to point
Other commentators who have advocated headcovering during public worship include John Gill, Charles Spurgeon, Matthew Henry, A. R. Fausset, A. T. Robertson, Harry A. Ironside20 and Charles Caldwell Ryrie.21 In fact, until the 20th century no Reformed theologian taught against head coverings for women in public worship. This could

Here is a summary of lots of Reformation and Post-Reformation teaching on headcoverings - you can use Logos to chase up the references. I've recently done an historical study on this myself and the most helpful thing was just looking up commentaries on 1 Corinthians 11. If you look at commentaries from a range of centuries they will give you an insight

Another issue in the same book: p425 footnote 4 references another book by the same author, but actually links to the works of Josephus! Because it's in a footnote I can't use the 'report typo' function.

  • Lexham Press Free Book

Having just been updated to Faithlife Connect Essentials (No Library), it seems that the Lexham Press free book can only be chosen from a very limited selection? If so will it be a different selection every month, or will the current selection just be added to? Ie if I don't get something this month, is there a chance it won't be available next month

Are we losing the 1 year pre-pub price guarantee (which was included with Logos Now)? Haven't seen any mention of it on any of the Faithlife Connect information.

Thank-you!! This has restored my faith in the company. Great to see a place at the table remains for those who wish to own their resources, and that we're not going to be the poor relation or have to pay more for things we'll not use.
free access to Faithlife Connect for some customers who are significant transactional purchasers.
I'm fairly confident I would be a 'significant transactional purchaser' - certainly compared to the figures others are posting - but didn't get free access to Faithlife Connect. That would have softened the blow somewhat
Finally a suggestion: For benefit of "legacy" customers make feature purchases include the "current" features and "temporary" preview licenses until the next major software release. For example: My Logos 8 purchase would include all the Logos 8 feature sets, plus I would get Logos 9 previews until Logos 9 came out. If I purchase
I now feel that I would've been better off sticking to the ownership model (i.e. purchasing the Logos feature sets).
